One of the best Chinese pancakes in UK! Their Canto style noodles aren’t authentic but it’s delicious. You can’t fault the food given the generous portion and affordable price.
They have opened for over 10 years! Serving very delicious food famous for their savoury egg pancakes, on this occasion I got the salt and pepper beef noodles takeaway. It was stir fried to perfection and with rich flavour. Only £8.5 for a hot lunchtime option! Highly recommend them. Great customer service from Mr Zhuang and his chef assistant.
We ordered the chicken jian bing, a chicken wrap, and sweet & sour chicken fried rice for dinner last weekend, and we won't come back again mainly for hygiene reason. The chicken jianbing was with a generous portion — definitely enough to fill you up with just one order. The chicken wrap, however, was quite average and not something I’d recommend. As for the sweet and sour chicken fried rice, the rice seemed pre-cooked and kept warm in a rice cooker, which raised some concerns about freshness. The downside was really the service and hygiene. It was our first time ordering, and when we asked for recommendations, the lady at the counter simply shrugged and didn’t offer much help. The food truck operates on a cash-only basis, but mobile payment was possible through a specific payment app, which seemed catered to certain users. It would be helpful if more universally accepted payment options (like card or contactless) were available or clearly communicated to avoid confusion. What concerned us the most, however, was the lack of hygiene. The staff handled cash with bare hands and then proceeded to prepare food without washing hands. I saw her grab raw chicken pieces and then grab coriander pieces with the same hands, which raised food safety concerns. Overall, the portion sizes were generous and the price was reasonable, but due to the service experience, limited payment flexibility, and hygiene issues, we don’t plan to return.
***CASH ONLY*** Great little food van serving delicious Jian Bing pancakes. The portion sizes are pretty decent and they'll accommodate your spice tastes (I had mine extra spicy and it didn't disappoint).
I was curious about this food stall that always had a long queue, and I'm glad I decided to check it out. The food was delicious and surprisingly affordable. However, it's worth noting that they only accept cash, so make sure you come prepared. mIf you're looking for tasty and affordable food, this place is definitely worth to try
Good portion for price. Ordered spicy cumin chicken + fried rice for £7, would recommend to go half and half with noodles as the fried rice can get boring, but the chicken is excellent - well spiced and full of flavour. They only accept cash so if you have moved towards a cashless, digital future, be prepared to handle physical money, just like the days of old.
This Chinese street food is superlative, delicious, full of flavour. Many chinese go here, so that means it is good!! Portions are big and the speciality JIANBING the photo below, it is really recommend.
The salt and pepper chicken is very spicy and hot, almost too much for me. But that's on me, should have guessed :D Portion are very generous. Definitely recommend!
