Food was good but took over 2.5 hours to deliver from 15 mins away! I called multiple times and was always told “it’ll be a few more minutes” which was actually an additional hour. I’d have reviewed it 4 or 5 stars if the delivery was on time but almost 3 hours is unacceptable.
Well! What to say! Absolutely delicious food first and foremost! Best Chinese food ever! Vast and varied menu with all the usual favorites. The staff are SO friendly and polite too! Very helpful. I will Absolutely be coming back for more and already looking forward to my next takeaway treat! 10/10 *****
Lovely staff. Food is always piping hot. Good portions and tasty. When so many Chinese takeaways are charging £3 for prawn crackers, if you collect Old Fried Garden almost always puts free bag in like the good old days.
10/10 highly recommended. Can tell it’s a family ran business and all staff are lovely especially the little brother who lets you play with his Lego whilst you wait! Hands down the best Chinese food in Withington (and we’ve tried a few!) so pleased it’s on our doorstep
Best takeaway I’ve had in Manchester. Lovely crispy salt and pepper chips brilliant dishes my personal favourite is the kung po prawns. The prawn toast has massive amount of prawn. Lovely customer service and a lovely family that run it. Can not recommend more
half dodgy looking but a tray of rice chips + curry sauce is proper good
Geniualy the worst takeaway I've ever had the bbq ribs are full over red water the beef chow mein mein is noodles with beef on top how they survive I don't know..you have been warned its rotten
The most disgusting takeaway around, when you walk inside the chippy the floor is dirty ,black dirt around the scurting boards ,but I thought nothing of it and i still ordered ,when ordering our food we asked for a large portion of chips and got a only a handful of chips thrown inside a large tray ,we also ordered curry sauce and that was thick and gloopy like it had been left there for hours ,also the chips were not even cooked properly ,,we also ordered a sausage and that was pink. the worst takeaway place around ,will not be ordering from these again ! Disgusting food for an expensive price!
Ordered with friends last week. One of the dishes was incorrect, however, quickly rectified. Fantastic customer service from the delivery driver who was polite, professional and apologetic, which makes me happy to order again!
