My steak and pepper pie had hard pastry, scallop was greasy. My husband said the chips were a mixture of soft and hard. First and last time we will visit, it was recommended by friends.
Haven't tried the fish and chips but the Chinese dishes were tasty when we visited. Service was very quick and efficient and the portions were a generous size. Price was very reasonable for the food.

Well it is a very good chip shop and has proper Chinese style chippy curry sauce. Not the abomination with raisins in it :)
Honestly don’t know why this has so many good reviews. It used to be a really nice chippy but it’s gone down hill massively. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, got home they’ve give me a portion of chicken balls and a sweet and sour sauce seperate? How is that sweet and sour chicken? The chicken was so hard and chewy that i didn’t eat it. The sauce is over vingerary that you can’t bare to eat it. The fish and chips my husband ordered was over cooked and he didn’t eat that either. What a waste of £20.40!!! Avoid at all costs!!
Very good chippy. Fish n chips are spot on and the chicken burger is pretty good too, its a proper piece of chicken and lovely soft bread. Prices are reasonable
Fish and chips are really nice when freshly cooked. But don't go at opening time as you'll get the chips from the previous day. Peas like bullets too. Not mushy. They don't accept card payments either.
