Ruo the daughter took 50 mins to make my food when they said 20 mins and then when I asked they said it’s none of your business so I just said ur Nasty and they just said ok get out, and the food was cold and dry so don’t ORDER HERE
Order was received VERY quickly. However the prawn curry was thin and tasteless. Also special foo yung (just passable) with chips that tasted stale. Had better on previous occasions.
Really tasty Chinese. Loved the duck and Singapore noodles. Very friendly service.
I manage a busy Chinese takeaway out of the area. First time here and the staff were very polite. Ordered salt and pepper chicken which was fantastic. Looking forward to popping in again.
After enjoying Fresh 2 Cook for the past 4 years we were very disappointed to receive the wrong order with the staff refusing to accept their mistake of beef instead of chicken, when I read from a written list with no mention of any beef. The quality of the food has also significantly declined and the other chicken dish they got correct wasn’t any better with very little flavour, so most of It ended up in the bin. When requesting a replacement of the incorrect dish they simply said they were too busy so couldn’t replace, refund or credit (not that we would use it), so won’t be ordering form Fresh 2 Cook again and would advise the same if you’re expecting the same quality food and service of the past.
Always loved this takeaway from the minute it opened but suspect it may have new staff. Last few meals not quite the usual standard. I ordered chicken beansprouts last time but there was absolutely no beansprouts in meal! Not sure if they just forgot to put them in or what but sadly I may be looking elsewhere in future
The chips here are the frozen type in the fryer but they are my favourite type so this place is already a win there. Sometimes they cook the chips until crispy and golden and oh lord they are heavenly. The salt and pepper chips from here when they're golden and crispy are incredible. I've recommended this place to a bunch of people. My only issue is the free food item when you spend X amount. They should really ask which free food item customers would like then you don't end up binning something you don't like. We don't like spring rolls but we do like fortune cookies or prawn crackers. We always bin the spring rolls.
