Accidentally bumped into this place after some Christmas shopping and got lucky with a table for two. Service was superb and the Massaman curry I ordered was the closest I had to the one I loved in Kho Samui. Yes a little on the expensive side but you are in the city centre and the vibe and decour made it worth it. Will definitely visit again.

Our pre theatre meal and cocktail were fabulous! Guava Colada, which has recently been crowned top cocktail in Birmingham lived up to its reputation and the starter of Seaweed Rolls followed by Black Cod Loin were both exotic and excellent. The service was also friendly and efficient. It all felt very stylish and elegant and a wonderful lift to a grey October early evening in central Birmingham.

My friend & I came yesterday evening & we had a delicious meal, has to be one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. Staff were very friendly & attentive, will be returning.

I was in Birmingham for a few days last week and went to Sabai Sabai twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. I’d highly recommend going for dinner as the menu is more expansive. Definitely book in advance for dinner. The service was efficient and friendly. The seating comfortable. It does get loud, depending on the number of diners. For dinner, I had tempura king prawns followed by salmon curry with Jasmin rice. All dishes were delicious. The prawns were my favourite. As for lunch, I had crispy duck bao buns followed by pad Thai with prawns. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Sabai Sabai and I’ll be going again when I’m back in Birmingham.

We were well received and immediately taken to our table by a highly professional and personable server who looked after us very well throughout our visit. Nothing was too much trouble and we had some great laughs with him too. We ordered a variety of starters for two people and added a couple of extras on just to try them. The food was exceptional and plentiful, no complaints whatsoever. The cocktails are good, well priced and the wine list is sensible with a good choice. This place has a great vibe and everyone in the restaurant was having a good time, and importantly the staff were happy and all constantly making sure things were kept in top condition. We will most definitely be back! I wish I knew our servers name, because he deserves a shout out

The menu is vast and offers a great variety, from Thai curry, to steaks and seafood. The food was well presented and full of flavour. For lunch with 4 people and a bottle of wine, expect to pay 140 pounds, which is reasonable. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the booth where we sat was ripped and worn so it was an unpleasant surprise, hence the 4 stars. However, I would easily come back to try the rest of the menu.

Stopped by to get lunch, our server was so sweet and friendly. The decor was lovely and in a great location. Food was really good, anything fried was fried to perfection. The menu was also really easy to read and understand. Chicken satay was a bit disappointing and dry, there was too much green curry for the amount of rice offered, and the corn fritters were served kinda cold. However as a whole, it was really good and I would go again to try more of the menu.

Great atmosphere and decor. Went in the evening with 2 friends. Staff were welcoming throughout. Good food and service. We had starters and main course, good quality, full of flavour and different aromas. Reasonable price - 3 x starters, 3 x main dishes, 3 x side dishes and 4 x drinks, including service charge Β£110 Would recommend to visit for the food and atmosphere.

Sabai is definitely one of the more up-market Thai places I've been to, and the menu prices reflect that. The food is for sure top quality but I'd recommend going between 12-2pm for their lunch specials which work out much cheaper in the long run. Sabai was an experience. The mixed aromas coming from your plate, the mixed flavours of sweet, spicy, salty and coconut were balanced very well. The portions are generous (If ordering the lunch deal) and a range of teas are available along with alcoholic drinks. Definitely recommend meeting a friend here or taking out a family member but for large groups it would definitely be pricey. I would rate 4.5 if I could.
