Not our first visit and will not be our last. Wonderful ambiance, warm welcome, incredible food, immaculately presented. Just perfect really.
This was our first visit after 10+ years of visiting Barton Marina. Wonderful food, quick and attentive staff and lovely ambience. Visited at 6pm on a Sunday evening. It was fairly quiet but we had booked a table just in case. Food is truly excellent. We had the Thai Marina Favourite Basket starter followed by Gaeng Massaman (chicken), Chu Chee Gung Yai (jumbo prawn), sticky Thai rice and noodles.
Great Thai food, lovely service and lovely setting - the marina is a great spot for a walk before/after a nice meal. The restaurant itself feels very authentic, with the beautiful fountain and Buddha statue. The staff are always welcoming. During the week, there are great lunchtime deals for more affordable dining.
A fantastic experience at Waterside Thai! We enjoyed the lunch menu: we had the chicken satays and chicken goujons to start and then the massaman curry and the chef special fried rice with green curry paste and vegetables. All were presented amazingly and most importantly, tasted amazing! The massaman curry was the best thai curry i’ve had, super flavourful. The restaurant itself was decorated beautifully and the staff were friendly and had quick service! Thankyou so much i’d definitely recommend!
Food was delicious. Fresh. Very authentic looking place from the decor right down to the bamboo themed cutlery. They were very good at accommodating my wife’s gluten allergy. I had the chicken curry which was delicious. Service was very quick, probably because we went on a Sunday night and it was very quiet. Would certainly recommend if you like this food.
Very nice restaurant. Service was great and the food was faultless, the jungle curry was especially good. Could do with a few more things on the menu for children though, such as moo ping or noodles.
This was our first visit and we were very pleased. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly. The food is first class and nicely presented. Lek was our server and she has a fantastic sense of humour and willing to chat, I like that. Visit this restaurant and you will enjoy it.
Absolutely delicious food, which was freshly prepared. The staff were excellent and very attentive. I would certainly recommend a trip to the restaurant if you are in the area. The internal decor is excellent, we were fortunate enough to be seated by the steam/waterfall which was very relaxing whilst we are.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very large. We were disappointed by the abrupt and frankly rude staff who all seem preoccupied and inattentive, despite it being a very quiet Tuesday evening. Despite this, the food saved the day, even if it is slightly highly priced compared to other Thai restaurants we've visited (most likely due to location). The massaman curry with mock duck was stunning and the vegetarian and vegan options were plentiful. I would hesitate to visit here again due the off-putting staff but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope it was just a bad day because the food was delicious!
I’ve been twice with family and friends and the service we have received has been excellent. We’ve had no issues at all; food has been delicious and the staff friendly. I would definitely come again and recommend to others
