Flavourful. Good portion size (not too small). Great atmosphere. Friendly staff who are very happy to help. Could improve: If anything, the toilet is hidden/tucked away but that doesn’t take away from the experience of good food.

The food is amazing, the portions are generous, and the staff are super friendly. I had their specialty pad kra pao and it’s become my favourite Thai food! I’d also recommend the corn fritters. It’s a really lovely restaurant and the decor is flawless. I can’t wait to come back!
Both the shop decoration, the service attitude of the store staff and the food are very good. The food in this Thai restaurant is not expensive, of high quality, and there are many choices. The taste is very authentic and has not been changed according to the locals. I recommend the Thai pork knuckle rice. The meat is tender and the sauce is sour and spicy. It is very appetizing. Overall, it is a Thai restaurant worth returning to again and again.
An excellent dining experience tucked away near the Arcadian in Birmingham city centre. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. I left feeling completely satisfied, without it ever feeling too heavy. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and comfortable, with a relaxed elegance that makes it easy to unwind. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time and really enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. The service was a clear 10 out of 10, the staff were genuinely attentive without being overbearing, and everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. Drinks were also on point, the cocktails were really well made, balanced, and enjoyable without being overly sweet or overpowering. The menu focuses on traditional Thai dishes, prepared with care. The flavours felt authentic and well-balanced, and while the dishes were familiar, they had that little extra finesse that made them stand out. Comforting, flavourful, and clearly cooked with pride. Overall, The Thai Classic offers a brilliant combination of flavour, service, and setting. Whether you’re meeting friends, having a quiet date night, or simply after great Thai food in the city, it’s well worth a visit.
Some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had! Everything tastes so fresh and authentic, we loved every dish we tried. The interior is also beautiful and the service was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back again!
Food was very authentic, I was surprised at how good it was. The decor is quite nice and its situated on the outskirts of chinatown so it wasn't too busy.
This is the best Thai restaurant in the city. The food was great and authentic. Staff were professional and friendly. The service was perfect and fast. We had Poh Tak, duck tamarind sauce, holy basil, and durian crepe. Poh Tak is the best we have ever tried in the city.
Lovely well made good value Thai food (Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao in our case but the menu is BIG). Very efficient service and attentive staff. We will definitely return.
