   Absolutely vile experience at Shimlla Doncaster. After all the talk of a revamp, they’re still serving the same cheap, reheated food they always did — if anything, it’s even worse now and twice the price. I ordered a mixed grill, and it was a complete joke: tough, low-quality meat that tasted off, and the naan bread was dry and stale. Within hours, I was violently ill — by the next morning I had severe diarrhoea, stomach cramps, nausea, and felt completely drained. I hadn’t eaten anything else that day, so I know it came from here. Disgusting food, zero hygiene standards, and clearly no care for customers’ health. I’ll be reporting this to Environmental Health and the Food Standards Agency. Avoid this place at all costs.

   First time coming last night for my birthday and wow! This place did not disappoint. The restaraunt decor is lovely it’s very clean and well maintained. Service was 10/10 and the food was out of this world. Best Indian I’ve ever tried. Will most definitely be returning

   We ate at Shimla this evening for the first time and wow, the service to start was excellent, such a friendly bunch of guys and nothing was too much! I have recently had to go gluten free and they catered so well for this too! The food was served quickly and was so yummy! We had the sizzler shared for 2 to start, a king prawn bhuna, garlic nahari, rice and chips! Also the lime pickle with the popadoms and pickle tray was epic! We will definitely be back!

   This was my first visit here after enjoying many delicious takeouts. The food was amazing as always the onion Bhaji's are the best I have ever had. For main I had Chicken rogan josh again beautifully presented & tasted wonderful. Here you take your own alcohol as they don't have a drinks licence. I can highly recommend here & will definately be going back xx

   Absolutely disgusting service! Ordered £70 worth wise food for my husbands birthday - it turned up 40 mins late with only half of order! 20 mins after my naan’s turned up and another 30 minutes after my starter did! All the feats was absolutely spoiled! Food was cold, started arrived over an hour after the main! And the top of the cake. - I was shouted at by the restaurant manager when i tried r chase my order saying that everyone can make a mistake ???? Shouts not an apology! I hope there are better places in this area! Absolutely disgusting

   Had a good night food was good and the service was was second to none. Price of the meal was fare and didn't have to wait ages between courses. We left the restaurant's friendly atmosphere with full a belly and a smile on our face. Thanks guys see you again soon.

   The food from here is usually amazing and tonight was no different. However the service was shocking. We was greeted with a very sharp tone which stuck throughout the night and was instantly told we could not separate the bill (which we had previously done the week before). The other waiter was walking around huffing and puffing and slamming the plates and cutlery on the table when serving us. He clearly didn't want to be there! This is my local Indian and have always rated it as the best around however I will be trying alternatives from now on!
