New to the area and we have literally just finished our food from here, it was absolutely lovely. Got to say the batter really does melt in the mouth. Up to date menu, attached for anyone wanting to see it ☺️
Great fish, very fresh, cooked to perfection. Ditto chips. Very friendly service. I'm not from Stocksbridge, but I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
How very disappointing. The fish was OK but tasteless. Chips where soggy in grease .we ask for a large chips and got an oap's small . Looks like poseidons chippy still has best fish shop crown .sorry guys you just don't live up to your reviews
Dropped in by chance yesterday - just passing. Some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Chips crisp and light, fish flaky and moist, batter a delight. COVID protected. Well done ladies. I’ll be back.
Some people on comments say they are very nice and tasty. Well, all I can say to that is that they have never tried anyone elses or are just good friends of the owners. Bought fish and chips today and a fish for my Mum and I do not joke that the fish (when found beneath the batter) was about the size of three sticks of a Kit Kat and about as thick. The chips were as dry old boots.
