A unique place for all good Chinese cuisine , soup, a la carte , dim sum , roast meat , stir fry to seafood dishes. Karaoke room available for gathering. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious environment. Highly recommend.
The KTV room has adjustable lighting and a very complete song selection. It also has a private toilet, providing good privacy. The 3 Roasted Platter was well-balanced with roasted duck, char siu, and roasted crispy pork belly. The Seasonal Vegetables & Bamboo Fungus in Soup was clean and refreshing. The Wonton Soup was light and fresh, featuring thin wrappers and shrimp pieces. The dim sum dishes were both tasty.
One of the best Cantonese restaurants in Manchester! A true local gem right in Chinatown. Their roast pork is honestly the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy skin and so flavorful. The char siu and roast duck are also amazing, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. We also tried: • Three Cup Chicken Claypot – super fragrant and rich, perfect with rice. • Steamed Pork Ribs & Chicken Feet – authentic Cantonese flavor, tender and full of taste. • Rice Noodle Roll with Fried Dough (炸两肠粉) – recommended by the waiter, crispy inside and silky outside, really special! • BBQ Pork Puff – they were almost sold out, and the waiter even gave us the last two for free, so nice! They even have private rooms with karaoke, with a huge song selection — perfect for gatherings or birthday parties. Open until 3 a.m., so great for late-night food too. Definitely recommend for anyone craving real Cantonese food in Manchester!
An accidental find in Manchester China Town. However this is one of the best traditional Cantonese cusine I have had. Each dish is close to 9 out of 10 in my opinion. Portions are generous in comparison to London and much better value. The decor is morden and doesn't feel cramped. Great service from the friendly staff. Overall, well worth a try you wont be disappointed.
Great food with great values - best roasted duck in Manchester. Could have been even nicer if the plates were heat up before serving so the food would stay warm for longer. The restaurant manager was meeting customers and providing warm and professional reception service. They have two floors and the 1st floor is quieter. Both floors have toilets. They have nice KTV rooms on the 1st floor and customers can dine and sing all together.
Short review: NOT WORTH VISITING! The food was terrible and the worst dim sum I have ever had, not just in Manchester but in my entire life. We ordered four dishes and none of them were authentic and satisfying. The first dish, had a misleading name that made it sound like a classic sausage or a special dish, but it turned out to be plain steamed vermicelli roll with no filling, which taste like plastic. The only side that comes with it is the sauce which tasted like something from a supermarket. The traditional dish, preserved egg and pork porridge, tasted plain as if they just randomly added some veggies to plain rice pudding. The steamed buns were supposed to be juicy inside but they tasted like the cheapest dumplings. The sauce for the fried squid tasted like the cheapest sweet chili sauce from a supermarket. This was a very disappointing experience. I have never seen a dim sum restaurant degrade dim sum like this, using the worst ingredients and sauces that you wouldn't even see at any other restaurant. Whether you have never tried dim sum or you are a dim sum lover, this is not a place worth visiting!
We had a delicious dinner at Aplus. We had a variety of dim sum, fried rice with beef, beef noodles, and roast duck/pork. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, we had to wait a bit for one of the dishes. In their defence (maybe), the place was crowded. Anyhow, this was the first time here, so I can not judge if this is a behaviour for them based on one visit. Looking only at the quality of the food, it was great.
Great Chinese Dim Sum and food. Chee Cheong Fun is amazing also the lou sa bao. Lo Bak Gao also feels like from home. Great Chinese restaurant in Manchester.
Hong Kong style Dim sum you could taste right here! Great work!!! Enjoyed the afternoon here, serving Dim sum and Wok fried dishes, to be honest, it's actually a lot better than I anticipated and go beyond great than the rumors heard. Blessed and very fortunate they improved a lot on the food quality and fabulous service, environment and everything else overall. Worth a 2nd visit soon to try other dishes with more companion. The Dim sum are seen in the photos, are indeed appealing and delicious, simply fabulous as I would say. That's why it's not even a doubt to give this Chinese Restaurant a full mark review , 5/5, people should know this place is worth the attention and recommendation! Genuinely appreciate it, thanks!
We came to eat around 4pm Thursday and the restaurant was nice and quiet (understandably) with plenty of staff - a good sign. We started with some soupy dumplings which my wife declared ordinary. However the fish was very good - for the price of should be! A good size, succulent and delicately cooked. The boiled rice, Chinese greens and seafood with tofu and eggplant were all good as well. We drank green tea and the staff were attentive and kept it topped up. The crispy pork belly at £13 was not good: oily taste, the crispiness faded fast and it felt overpriced for the amount. We've had better elsewhere in the UK and even in Europe (Belgium, Holland). It's a pity as I'm a huge fan of this dish. The overall bill was a lot for two people, but we knew it would be, the prices are clearly put. We had plenty of leftovers for breakfast - our hotel room had a mini kitchen and my wife gave us a nice sizzling dish in the morning . We'd go back again, though. And I'm glad we went.
