Used to be my favourite takeaway, would order every week. Tried calling this evening to make an order, ended up cancelling our order before even finishing reeling it off the phone. Guy on the phone even started to talk over me whilst I was trying to place the order. When we carried on reading he started expressing how the order may take 30-40 minutes before ready to collect. We agreed that would be more than fine, to which he then said it could take potentially an hour; clearly trying to avoid us going through with the order. Poor customer service skills and blatant rude behaviour has left a horrid final impression of this takeaway. A clear change of hands has ruined this place will never be returning nor should you.
From my favourite takeaway to the worst in Horbury. I would avoid this place as it has gone down hill, my last two orders have been terrible, my pizza was delivered raw, the dough was uncooked and literally could be used as play dough, and the cheese wasn't even fully melted. The garlic bread had to taste of garlic to it but it used to have big chunks of it on. The food was delivered promptly, 20 minutes early in fact but clearly my pizza could of done with that time in the oven. The food could of made me ill on two occasions now. Its really no good. Delivery man is lovely, please don't give him stick.
I ordered a cheese burger and chips and when the order was delivered the chips were soggy and undercooked. We phoned the restaurant to complain all they said was the chips were freshly cooked and they blamed it on the distance from restaurant and would not do anything about it. I paid for a meal and could only eat the burger. I will never order from them again.
Shocking! Accepted order then cancelled 30 minutes later, when called and asked why was advised they were too busy! I said so my money isn’t good enough today to which he replied “no” and hung up, this is because it was a £10 order for one! Il take my usual big orders else where! Avoid! places like this need to learn customer service is key and manners cost nothing!
