Chicken Singapore Rice is boiled rice with small bits of chicken and huge onions and nothing else. Mushrooms were mostly huge onions again. The Plain Chow Mein was like rubber and the curry sauce tasted odd. The chips saved a star, they were ok. Won’t be going again.
Food took ages to come and forgot part of the order so had to go back and get it. Chicken fried rice looked microwaved I could just make it at home, and chips were soggy.
Recently visited a new cafe. Overall, the experience was neutral. The interior is pleasant but not outstanding. The furniture is comfortable and the lighting is sufficient. The service was polite but not the fastest. The order was taken promptly, but waiting for the dishes took some time. The food was decent but not impressive.
My usual was closed so tried out mans palace, I had prawn toast, sweet & sour chicken, salt & pepper wings. It hit the spot! Tasty food & very polite/friendly, what more can you ask for? I’ll be back! Thanks guys
Well what can I say it's amazing the food is lovely defo going there again had a little chat with the owner been there 30 years that ace 5☆☆☆☆☆ from me ...try the salt and pepper chips and chicken well nice thanks Andy the new grandad lol x
Quality of food is quite poor. Chicken chow mein was made up of largely noodles, with the tiniest portion of chicken. The other meals were mostly veg, with a serious lack of meat. If they're trying to cut costs, be honest with customers. I wont be ordering from here again.
Can’t fault the food but the price has gone up massively in the last month…order a Chinese takeaway every week from here and my order has gone up by £9 due to having to order rice / chips separately as they no longer come with the meal! Time to try elsewhere.
Just been for half fried rice chips and curry and the rice was not cooked properly very disappointed as we never had any problems with the food but to night was a let down the mixed thing was the chips
Not for the first time, the curry was so salty it was inedible! Threw it in the bin after a couple of mouthful. Save yourself some money and try and eat a 75p bag of salt. Same result and much cheaper! Been going to this place for over a decade but found meals have deteriorated. Have decided, finally, to call it a day! Will not give my custom in future! So sad!
I've been coming here for almost 20 years. Friendly staff, restaurant quality & fair prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else for Chinese takeaway
