   Great little chippy. Staff were very friendly. I had the lunchtime special, fish,chips,peas and gravy and i ate every bit. Was the best ive had in a while.

   Food is disgusting chips cold greasy and full of peel and black spots chicken kebab was like cardboard and stone cold everything ended up in the bin and went out to golbourne fry where we had the most delicious food and everything was eaten. It’s pretty clear from the other reviews the owner doesn’t give a dam about what she is serving to her customers avoid at all cost.

   First visit about 4.30 just opened so gave a try chips were worst ever had brown, hard, dry, flat sunken, lots scratchy bits, felt like been left over from lunch and re-heated never go again I’ll stick to tried and tested one past Nevison pub, or crispy cod haydock and others chipies cheaper too and get quality

   Really disappointed with this place, chips were stale and overcooked and the fish was some tasteless nondescript white fish covered in thick uncooked batter. If this is the Best in the area" I'll be going for a longer drive next time. Feel ripped off for the price.

   Called at Sols on our way home tonight (13th Dec) 1st time visit and so glad we called. Chips were the best I've had in a very long time. Fresh and cooked to perfection. Lovely service with a smile too. Will definitely return.

   Quite frankly if I would have given a lower score I would have done. Understandably being good Friday it was incredibly busy but service was incredibly slow. I could have coped with this if I had ended up with food that was edible and slightly enjoyable. Never have I had such a bad experience from a chippy. Nor did I believe it could go so badly. As it was busy I expected the chips to be hot but shockingly they were cold, hard and tasted far from fresh. They were incredibly dry and many were in fact hard hallow shells. In my opinion they had been cooked earlier and reheated. I only one thing I am happy about is that it is not my local chippy and I never have to go again. 80% of the food has gone into the bin as it’s completely inedible. The sausages were about the only edible and enjoyable thing! I certainly would not recommend not will i ever be returning.

   Pretty good food, polite staff and they have good chicken nuggets/Sausage, would definitely recommend for lunches if your out and need some food quick. You can usually get the food within 2-6 mins and they have a place to wait. Long story short: Good place, Good food, Good service.
