   This has to be the most spotless chippy I have ever been to. Immaculate. Price is very good, the portion size is not massive but I don't care about that because it makes up for it with the price and quality the two ladies serving were very well mannered and friendly. Cannot fault them. This will be my regular place to go from now on. If you like a good old British style chippy this is for you.

   I'm very old -- I remember when it was Ridings in the 1950's. I left the area in 1959 and have lived in California for years. It was the best chippy then and I'm happy to see that it still seems to be so now :-)

   Lovely staff. But small portion and very undercooked chips. Maybe it was due to it closing 30 minutes later but I would stay clear in future.

   We never ordinarily have takeaways, but last Saturday after a very long and busy day decided to order from here. Called up and placed an order for collection 10 minutes later. The food was extremely tasty, fresh and nicely cooked. Ladies working there were very pleasant and chatty when I went in to collect the food. Will definitely go there again in future for fish and chips and would highly recommend. If there was one criticism to make, it would simply be that the chips with each meal could have been a slightly bigger portion, otherwise it was fantastic!

   This has to be one off the best in our area the staff are so friendly nothing is to much for them to do we asked for lightly battered fish and they did it without any questions the chips are to die for they are so tasty would highly recommend them to anyone who wants value for there money

   Worst chippy I’ve been too and I’ve been a few over the country!!! Got about twenty chips thirty at a push. Thought they’d given me a kids portion, apparently that’s the UK’s standard portion she was trying tell me. Wouldn’t even offer Chuck a few more on even joke!

   Probably the worst fish dinner I've ever eaten. Undercooked chips with a tiny fish in soggy batter .served with hard peas!! Topped off with curry so bland the newspaper it was wrapped in would probably taste better.
