   I've now edited this post from a previous 3 star to an absolutely well deserved 5 star, 6 star if I could. Eaten from here on multiple occasions and everytime has been outstanding, my previous meal was rated 3 star based on quality but was dealt with professionally by members of staff and I've just had the same meal to allow a fair review and it was absolutely stunning, this place Is definitely worth going, not only for the food but the customer service is of very high standard.

   First time we visited this restaurant about a year ago. Loved everything and were looking forward to coming back. Yesterday we had the diner at Cardamon again. Unfortunately, very disappointed in food quality. So much onions in everything.. Seems like a cheap way to add more to the meal. Korma was way too sweet for what it is actually supposed to be. Overall meat and fish quality was good, but the vegetables and sauces were way below the acceptable standard and seemed to be made in a great rush and probably even with the use of the stock that's nearing the end of it's shelf life. It might just be our taste buds this time but please step the game up a bit. Also the garnishing looked very boring. A couple of salad leaves, cherry tomatoes, and a lemon like in any high street kebab shop. I hate writing bad reviews but that's just our experience this time. The staff was nice and attentive.

   Always a pleasure to eat at this restaurant, the food is always first class. Tonight’s choice was, after Popadoms & dips, Onion Baji and Fire Chicken to start. Followed by the Staff Lamb. The staff were extremely welcoming, and dealt with potential incident professionally.

   13 years ago I went into a new Indian restaurant and was blown away with everything I tried , over the years I've visited when I can and unlike other places that are not what you remember the cardamon is what you remember and more , light crispy popadoms with addictive sauces , onion bhajis full of flavor with crispy outsides followed by curries and mains that overwhelm the pallet while magically demanding more , the service is professional and friendly while not being intrusive. After my outstanding meal tonight I was informed of the 13 year anniversary and was given a discount , well as if the night couldn't get better now my wallet is happy. If your anywhere near this restaurant give it a try , even my fussy family member is raving about the steak and chips. I will be going back as soon as I'm able to move again as I'm that full.
