   my friend and I had dinner at Amans this evening and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We began with poppadoms and a selection of chutneys, along with a mixed kebab and chicken tikka starters. For our main courses, we chose chicken tikka vindaloo ,chicken tikka main and chicken tikka masala, served with mushroom rice and a peshwari naan. Every dish was beautifully prepared — fresh, aromatic, perfectly spiced, and served piping hot. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The portion sizes were extremely generous, which was a pleasant surprise.

   We used to use Amans for take away for some years, they have now got new owners and we since had two take away which I’m afraid fall well below the standard l have come to expect as Amans. The first meal was a Balti exotica with vegetables rice , the portion amount has been reduced and the curry sauce very bland and mainly tasted too oniony. Tonight 20/12 /24 we had a family meal 5people, my son had mixed shashlick with samber sauce the chicken was not cooked, the sauce wasn’t flavourful relay on pepper to give some taste, also very powdery. The rest of the dishes followed the same ie lacked taste. It’s a great shame as our family all thought Amans was the best in Stockton Heath sadly since the new management it’s now certainly not the best.

   Amans in Stockton Heath is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to. We’ve bought many friends along when we fancied it and they’ve all enjoyed it and when they come back up, they request to go. Always consistent food, whether dine in or take away. Waiting staff are friendly and will accommodate your needs…looking forward to my next visit.

   My girlfriend and I went to Amans tonight, we had 4 courses from their midweek special offer (£15.95), We had popadoms & chutneys, Mixed Kebab starter & Chicken Chat Starter, followed by Chicken Tikka Madra, Chicken Tikka Passanda , Keema Rice and a Pashwari Naan bread. The food and service were excellent, The food was fresh, fragrant, well spiced and really hot. The service was excellent. The portions were very large and we ended up taking home some food. Overall a great experience! Thank you Amans.....

   A gorgeous meal for two. Attentive , friendly staff. Good sized portions. The food was really flavoursome and we couldn’t fault anything . Regarding atmosphere, we ate there early so was fairly quiet in restaurant but that was fine for us. Will definitely go again

   Visited Amans 2 weeks ago with a party of 18 guests ,, the youngest aged 7 , to celebrate a 75th birthday. The food , all served together, was extremely good and the service was excellent.. Thank you Joe and your staff for making this a very relaxed and enjoyable evening. Margaret
