We have used Jade Palace for quite a few years and it has been one of our favourites takeaways. The last few orders have been quite average but tonight my husband decided to pop in and order to take away. I dished it up and was so disappointed. The food was tepid and the ribs were stone cold. Time to change our takeaway
Food was not in the slightest Thai food. Basically slop. Chicken was like jelly, no flavour, and weird texture. Salt and pepper chips had maybe two tiny slices of chilli in and were soggy. Rice, i have no idea what it was supposed to be and how it was Thai. But it wasn’t nice. Even worse was the hour wait for all this
Pad thai is awful, advertised as a Thai & Chinese takeaway. Never have I had such a bad pad thai, basically chicken with thick noodles and whole peanuts thrown in!! No flavour , when contacted to complain their response was “ thats our pad thai” nothing we can do no refund or exchange available. Dont use if youwant Thai food!!!!!
EDIT TO THE BELOW: My wife ended up with food poisoning. Avoid at all costs. How this place has any good reviews is beyond me. Ordered a special fried rice box with meat, king prawns, and vegetables. The meat was bad, there were only two tiny prawns, the rice was somehow awful and the rest of the box was vegetables, all of which was tasteless. My wife had a similar dish and it was also terrible. I couldn't even finish my main, if it weren't for the prawn toast I also ordered I'd have ended up with nothing. Avoid.
There food is always delicious and so fulfilling,, I love the spicy chips & the 3in1 (curry sauce chips and egg fried rice) they are my favourite, the chicken chao main is also nice.

We use Jade Palace every Saturday (sometimes collection but mainly delivery) and receive great service and quality food without fail. We did try other takeaways in the area but nothing quite as good as these guys!
Found a hair in my Noodles. A very long one. Will not go back. Friendly checkout person tho Take no notice of the obvious fake reviews. If you spell Great as 'grate' really? You must be one of those people on Facebook who loves their little angles. Jesus christ.
