We ordered a chicken giro ,chips curry sauce and a kebab, first they forgot to give me my change,people who came after me got served first ,had to keep reminding them of my order,saw my kebab been left on side while rest of oder was made some some 10 minutes latter asked what was to be added to the giro,then had to remind the staff that I had ordered chips and curry sauce. The chicken giro was nothing like chicken more like beacon,my kebab was like warm the chips were soggy and very little curry sauce,very poor,unlikely to go there again as it also about half an hour.
One of the nicest things I’ve eaten in ages. So tasty and fresh. Got the salt and pepper chicken on doorstep whole grain with lots of fresh salad. Very much enjoyed it. Service was great. But to get something so tasty and filling for under £4 is brilliant. All the pies and cakes looked lovely too. Will definitely be back. Have heard a lot of great things about this place and I was certainly not disappointed. 10/10 will be back!
I have used this place forever from when it was on Blackbrook Road. Was always brilliant. Seems to have changed hands. Afraid to say after my last 3 visits I have now given up. Used to be manned by mature ladies that had worked there forever. Now seem to employ young kids who lack training and are frankly hopeless. Can't remember your order and I was given incorrect short change twice. On last visit said they were waiting for chips and then completely forgot me and served another 4 people when they were ready meaning the half order they had done was lukewarm by the time I got home. When you complain the young guy in charge stands silently at the back and says nowt. I get it's tough in business but trust me cutting your costs on inexperienced staff is false economy. After 30 years plus noe taken custom elsewhere and no doubt plenty of others doing same judging by the reviews.
Absolutely horrible food. Chips were definitely warmed up, fish had more batter than actual fish and the peas came in a lump. Avoid this place if you value your health.

Great fish and chips and good value meal deals including a drink. Good service and it's clean and bright. We usually get a portion of 'specials' to munch on, on the way home.
