The greatest Italian in the area and surrounding. The staff are always attentive and friendly. Portions are extremely generous and food full of beautiful flavour. Perfect local spot!

I've been coming to Maurizios for years, and once again they absolutely excelled when I held my Christmas do there last night. The staff made everything effortless and beautifully presented. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Taking food orders, serving drinks-everything was done with genuine friendliness. The food, as always, was delicious, and the portion sizes are incredible (definitely come hungry because they are generous!). It's a lovely, family-run Italian restaurant that truly makes you feel valued and looked after. Highly recommend!!!

We’ve been coming to Maurizio’s for over 20 years, and it’s always been one of our favourite places to eat. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and there’s such a great variety of dishes to choose from. The staff are friendly, caring, and always make us feel welcome. They’re great with children too — happy to do smaller portions of any dish, which we’ve always appreciated. There’s also a lovely room upstairs that’s perfect if you’re planning a private gathering or celebration. Whether it’s a casual night out or a special occasion, Maurizio’s never disappoints. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

The food here was amazing from start to finish, and the service was excellent. Some of the finest Italian food i have ever had. The spaghetti bolognese was perfect, not tart or acidic. Excellent meal, would very highly recommend. We ate there twice in one week.

Ate here on 4th March 2023. Place is buzzy and has a nice ambience. Service staff are very friendly. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as we were expecting based on other reviews. Our starters were good but two of our party had the calves liver as their main. This was off the specials board. It wasn't very good. It came as chunks of liver in a watery onion gravy. We ate it and paid for it. but we didn't enjoy it. We mentioned it to the staff but didn't really get a reaction. We wouldn't have the liver again. My wife ate cannelloni and wasn't wild about that either. If we go again we'll stick to pizza and pasta. In our experience this is a fun place but the food we had was more 3 stars than 5 stars.

Great pizza, great pasta and love the calamari. Service is always pleasant and your treated more like family than just a customer. The owner and head chef even comes out to make sure you’ve enjoyed everything and food is up to satisfaction. Highly recommend if in the area. Oh and don’t forget to try the tiramisu

Not been here before, just wanted somewhere different for lunch while in Rickmansworth and we found this lovely Italian. Greater warmly by Silvio who gave wonderful service throughout our lunch. The menu was varied including specials. Our food was amazing and plentiful. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely lunch.
