Great first experience at the Coach & Horses, Croxley. Staff were welcoming and proactive, checking in and making sure we were comfortable throughout. We picked the pub for its good range of vegetarian dishes, and the food more than delivered—fresh, tasty, and well presented. Attentive service and a solid veggie choice make this an easy recommendation.

Went to this lovely pub today for the 1st time, today, family of 5 and we all had roast dinners, the food was amazing, plenty of food on the plate and everything was delicious, massive compliments to the chef and kitchen staff, our waitress was excellent (I didn’t get her name unfortunately) but she was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, and she was always smiling. My 26 year old has autism, and the whole time he felt happy & relaxed here, we even got to stay for desserts, which is unusual for him, thank you too all the staff. Not just roast dinners on a Sunday, also have other choices all at very reasonable prices, can’t recommend this pub enough, look forward to our next visit

A lovely friendly pub. Very popular with the locals of Croxley Green but you’re made to feel very welcome on arrival. Seating outside front garden & also out the back garden which is nice, but over looks the car park. The car park can get full at peak times but not normally a problem to find somewhere local to park. Dogs are allowed both inside & outside and on the few occasions we have visited there has always been many dogs here. The vibe seems really chill & relaxed. Food is good, I always go for the superfood salad as it’s simply the most amazing thing which sounds strange for a salad but it’s amazing!

After many a good meal at this pub, I have to now report that our last visit was not a good one. We went for a nice roast dinner ( or so I thought it would be ) placed our order, when our food arrived, I had ordered the roast chicken. It arrived I proceeded to cut into the chicken to find that it wasn't not cooked properly. I called the waiter over and explained that it wasn't quite cooked. He took my plate away. Leaving my husband's and sons dinner. The manageress returned quickly to our table and said " the thing is with our chicken we check it with a thermometer. So it is good". I explained that the thermometer does not tell you when it is cooked. It only tells you it's hot. Although many people refer to this as a good method for telling when something is cooked. However after cutting into it you could clearly tell that it wasn't cooked. After I said this I was asked with attitude " want something else then". After this response I said no and we will be leaving. We gathered our belongings and proceeded to exit. Where as we left, disgusting looks were given to us by the staff gathered around the bar. I stated to them that we would not be returning. In this current climate you would think that customer service would be of a great importance, and food should be cooked for customers. Especially as the catering industry is apparently struggling. My husband is a fully qualified chef and he would never of sent this uncooked food out, and certainly would not of given attitude, when it wasn't upto their normal standard, or for that matter an edible standard. Disappointing and disgraceful. We will not be back.

We booked the Coach & Horses for a wake after my mum's funeral. The staff were very friendly, well organised and helpful and served drinks on our arrival really efficently. The buffet for 40 people was delicious and plentiful. We could not have asked for a better experience to make a difficult day memorable. Thanks to the whole team.

Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly staff and made my wife feel very special with the message, balloons and free glass of bubbly. We were happy before we'd even eaten and the food was just as good as the service. Scotch egg - OUTSTANDING! Roast beef, delicious. Cheesecake, very good quality. Looking forward to returning!

Booked a table for lunch for daughter, grandchildren and trainee guide dog for the blind and I'm so glad I did. Liam and Oliver were lovely and provided fantastic service. Prices very good. My mark of a good place to eat is the quality of the chips. If there are good then the rest of the food will be. The chips were great and it followed that the food was too and plenty of it Bramble the dog loved the garden which had plenty of shade and the kids love playing with the swing and climbing frame. I'm giving this place FIVE CHIPS OUT OF FIVE.

This pub has a great atmosphere and really good service. My burger meat was delicious. Best around. They catered for gluten free. The kids lunchbox was perfect for my three year old. The fries were only ok. The mayonnaise was terrible and took away from a great meal. Covid precautions being followed well here.
