   They catered for 10 of us, half festive fayre, half main menu. The service was polite and catered for all are individual requests including a gluten free guest. The food took time coming out but was all served together, the situation was ideal for us so we could chat and socialise, without being rushed. The pub restaurant is fairly priced. Thank you to the team on Monday afternoon you look after us well.

   Always have great service from Jo and some others whether she is serving behind bar or delivering your food to table. A friendly smile or little chat nothing is too much trouble for her. Food on most occasions very good.

   Not good fish cold however batter burnt!! Chips not cooked properly taste of oil!!? Also ordered a steak poorly cooked peppercorn sauce is better from home and bargain!! On a plus they did understand and apologised instantly and refunded the cost of the meal, gratefully appreciated, I’m putting it down to bank holiday weekend, chef over stretched doing their best, however 5 P’s ! Proper planning prevents poor production

   We visited The Church View this evening for a Mother’s Day meal, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Service was great, with regular visits to the table to check our food was as it should be, also that we had drinks as and when needed. Couldn’t fault our visit at all and would highly recommend. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you to the staff who were very attentive.

   Visited while down with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Food was fantastic and the service was also excellent. We were served by Joy, who was so pleasant and helpful, and nothing was an issue. It turns out she is the new manager, and what a figurehead she is. Recommend any visitors to go see the team at the Church View.

   The tall barman was the star of the show so lovely, helpful and nothing was too much. The dog menu, treats and water for dogs is splendid. The beer is good but for the food it was bog standard and very small would not eat there again such a shame.
