“Been going here for years but the current set up is top notch. We went for my sons 21st birthday and from the moment we went in to book to the moment we went after the meal, everything was superb. Food was great, service spot on and not too pushy to get us out and we had an area reserved for my FIL who is elderly and in a wheelchair so they accommodated him without any fuss at all. Rachel who managed us was awesome and her team are a credit to her. Thanks Rachel.”

Food was good and tasty. Smaller selection for the all you can eat breakfast but was restocked frequently when things ran out and tasted great.”

“We had our staff team meal last week and have been to the New Albion several times since it has changed management. We’ve had various meals, particularly enjoying the lamb, steak, loaded fries and chicken feast. This has been the place my family have been going for years, back to the original Albion days. It took a serious dip as the Cook House but since Stephen & Jake have taken over, it’s regained its atmosphere and charm. I approached Stephen about supporting Halton Cancer Support, a local charity and he was very eager to get involved. He sought opinion and support from the public and began to create a relationship with our work, supporting our annual 5K event. They couldn’t do enough to help and support us. They elevated our event, extending it into the evening, attracting new supporters for our charity and new customers in their lovely pub. We’ve enjoyed great food and drinks every time we’ve been. This has lead to me booking for a party of 18 near to Christmas and my family are booked in for Christmas Day lunch. I don’t think we would have engaged as a charity or returned as a family without the warmth and friendliness of Stephen, Jake, and their team. Thank you for bringing some joy back to an old Widnes favourite, and for bringing it back to life with your own added sparkle.”

“Popped into Parklands in Widnes and was blown away by the breakfast and service. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and made sure everything was spot on. The full English breakfast was fantastic perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The plate included two juicy sausages, a lovely runny fried egg, black pudding, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomato, and a generous portion of baked beans served in a ramekin. The toast was golden and buttery, stacked high and crispy. Can’t forget the HP Sauce on the side for the full experience! Great value, great food, and even better service. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back!”

“From the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed. The atmosphere at Baltic Pearl is so cozy and inviting, perfect for a special evening out. The food and service was absolutely outstanding; the dishes was cooked to perfection and the flavors were incredibly fresh and balanced. “We have visited Zaika on numerous occasions, and have always found the staff to be lovely, friendly and very accommodating. The restaurant is newly refurbished with modern decor. The food is fragrant, flavoured and well presented. Hussain, Tayef, Samin will go through the menu and offer their recommendations to suit your pallete. I would highly recommend this restaurant as it offer lovely food and atmosphere.”

“Had a great visit here. Food was really nice, served hot, tasted great and was good value for money. Nice drinks selection and not overly priced like a lot of places. The service made our visit though. Charlotte our waitress was fantastic. She was happy, smiley, polite and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. She even came back after we had our meals to ensure everything was OK. The restaurant was busy and she was running round all over the place ( a great employee, just what a busy pub needs). Look forward to our next visit.”
