Just vile. Been enjoying fish and chips once a week for over 30 years at hundreds of different fish and chip shops and this is by far the worst all round experience I,ve ever had! Poor service, horrible food, the chips are cheap oven chips you can buy in any supermarket.. Never again.
Never in my 49 years have i had such a vile fish and chips. The fish and chips were delicious when it was owned by the previous owner and called Dolphin. The chips are literally oven chips. The cod was thin, and when cut into it was very fishy and slimey, indicating that it is out date/spoiled and not for human consumption. The curry sauce is watery and tasteless. Both mine and the wife's went into the bin, absolute waste of £24. Avoid at all costs
The chaps here are friendly, but I ordered a pukka pie here a month or so ago and the middle was frozen. Would not recommend
Everything seems fine but their chicken wings were nasty and charging alot.
Food was good enough but portions were a bit to be desired . Not a large cod and chips by my standards .
Had fish n chips they were delicious.
spent £10 on food, asked for extra bag and bossman charged me 20p... won't visit again
We had Cod and chips with curry sauce tonight . Best chunky cod for miles. Never had a bad Fish and chips meal from the Dolphin. The staff are always 110%. Well Done.
Enjoyed my meal immensely, fish was perfect. Chips could have been cooked a little more but were still lovely.
