   Service was slow. We waited over 25 minutes for the main course to arrive (we had to remind the waitress) and we were ready to leave as we were fed up waiting. The place was not busy at all. The burger arrived cold because it had been served on freezing cold tomato and lettuce from the fridge. It couldn’t be eaten (see photo of how much was left). I was offered a lame excuse with bad attitude. £18 for a sub-standard cold burger and a bowl of chips was daylight robbery. And who on earth would crowd a very small table with glasses for water, yet not offer the water, and when this was commented on, the reply was “this is how I do it.” Any restaurant that values their customers would have discounted the bill or offered something to compensate for the cold burger, but not in this case. And they had the nerve to add a service charge! Add the bad attitude of the waitress, and it was a very bad and overpriced experience on all levels, never to be repeated.

   The food here is so delicious, and the service is excellent and attentive. The staff are proactive in introducing the menu and are happy to adjust ingredients based on customers’ requests. I’ll definitely come back again!

   What an amazing experience. If I could rate more than 5 star plus I would. The choice of food on the menu will cater for all. Thank you to the kitchen staff for preparing and delivering our meal and to the front house staff for providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. This is now one of my top local restaurants and will be returning.

   Nice location, service and friendly staff. Great choice of traditional Italian food and drinks. The pizza we ordered was slightly undercooked, although it was tasty. Desserts were amazing! Parking isn't outside but a short walk from a local car park, in case you have people with mobility issues.

   We had a simple asparagus risotto. The risotto didn’t have the perfect soupy consistency but the taste and ingredients were good. The waiting staff are friendly and able to advise on wines. Recommended.

   Had a great early dinner here. Good service. Lovely atmosphere too. March 2022 update. Great meal again. This place has a great atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. The menu is new and very good. A must to try! Visit on my own, just a pizza and some primitivo. Still lovely!

   Been to Valentina a few times now. The food is consistently good, the garlic bread is amazing and calamari is cooked well (always a good sign of skill). Portions are also a good size. The service is fantastic and worth the service charge. I’d suggest adding a “V” next to the items that are vegetarian which would make reading the menu easier.
