   Six of us ate here the Saturday night before Fathers Day. It was the first time for two of us as we don’t live in the area. It was very , very busy due to a large birthday group. Seated fast and drinks came quite quickly along with poppadoms and eventually the main menu. Food was ordered and given how busy it was, the appetisers came quickly. Very nice the onion bhajis were too. After that, I have to say a 40 minute wait for the mains was a bit too long. I realise we put our orders in just after the big party but an apology for the wait would have been nice. Have to say though, the mains were lovely and we would visit again if we were in the area.

   TOP TIP IF GOING WHEN ITS COLD DRESS FOR OUTSIDE WEATHER BECAUSE ITS FREEZING INSIDE. Had the early bird special, which is great value for money. Onion bajhis were large and very tasty. Nice pickle tray and tasty curry's. Staff were polite and friendly. What really let it down was the temperature, we were sat next to window and it was absolutely freezing resulting in us having to eat wearing out coats. It was that cold we ended up leaving most of main course and nan and cancelling our desert and coffee we paid for. Resulting in a night out we wish we hadn't had as was ruined by being so cold, we were not the only ones complaining about the temperature. Unfortunately we will not be visiting again. Car parking was a absolute nightmare.

   It’s been over 3 years since we’ve been able to dine in at the chilli lodge although we’ve had many take aways. It was lovely to see and chat with the staff who were as friendly as ever. The food was delicious. It was a special return to a great restaurant. Thank you Abdul and staff.

   We waited over 1 hour and half to be served. Had to get a third round of drinks because of wait times, which is clearly a tactic to get you to buy more. Despite the prolonged period of time spent sat without food, when we got it the food was amazing. My only problem was when it says mild, it shouldn't mean bland. The rice was amazing, the Naan perfectly soft and crispy, the curries the perfect texture. We will be visiting again.

   Went for my birthday with my wife. The food was its usual excellent taste and plenty of it. Would recommend you go here and you will never want to eat an Indian meal anywhere else again.
