   Had our work Xmas lunch/dinner yesterday late afternoon early evening. Food was excellent. Trout starter, duck leg confit main and sticky toffee pudding dessert. French Malbec red was very good as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't complain about anything. Price I can't comment on as we didn't see any price menus being a Xmas lunch.

   Another birthday celebration at the Queens Head and it never disappoints, consistently excellent hence our continued visits through the year. The starter Double baked cheese soufflé is an absolute must to anyone who visits for the first time …… it’s amazing. One recent addition I have to mention is the restaurant manager, James. Utterly professional but with the perfect balance of friendliness and so naturally conducted himself throughout the service and clear overall managing of the restaurant. I speak from decades in the seriously high end hotel industry, now retired but know a gem when I see one.

   I went for Sunday lunch and, although it wasn’t the best roast I’ve ever had, there were some lovely touches that I really appreciated. The unlimited roast potatoes and sides were great, and the vouchers gave us a generous discount that made the meal feel like really good value. The puddings were the highlight—absolutely delicious. It’s a nice, busy place with a good atmosphere, and I’d happily go again.

   Lovely rustic venue. This pub offers indoor and outdoor seating. There is a canopy area outside for cover from the sun or rain as well as picnic style benches with parasols. The pub offers a solid Sunday roast, a little light on the gravy but will provide more upon request. The pistachio soufflé is definitely the prime dessert choice. This pub also offers a small AF range.

   We had burgers and they weren't great - chips undercooked and burgers not freshly grilled, they tasted reheated. It's nice place though, but you'd expect burgers for reasonable price to be good in British pub

   The food is fantastic! Great service too! I particularly like the smoked pork belly with roast apple and puree. The dessert -sticky toffee pudding is unexpectedly enjoyable too! Appreciate the offer of the complimentary Rose and kids eat free. Well done and thank you! We will certainly come back again!
