We were recommended this place by friends for a family birthday meal and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious. Even my Mum who isn't normally a big fan of pub roasts absolutely loved it. We were given a lovely little snug area where it felt like we were having a family meal in our own home with the benefit of someone else cooking! Kids menu was also great for our toddlers.

A flawless pub experience. From the moment we were welcomed in the door, the way we were shown to our seats and the recommendations from the menu, the presentation and quality of the food (we ordered the châteaubriand to share), it was a memorable experience to say the least. It felt like we were in the pub version of a 5-star hotel. The ambience was cosy and top class.

Lovely first visit. Group of 5 of us for a Saturday lunchtime. We had a main and desert each. Also, a couple of sides and drinks. The food was delicious, and the decoration and presentation of the restaurant were good. On booking we were given 1 hour 45 mins for our table but actually as the place was quiet we were able to stay longer. Vert good service, our waitress was very friendly / professional. The only downside was some main meals were quite small, especially for the price, but the quality of food was good. Deserts price was much better value.

Beautiful country pub just outside of Cobham town centre. Small car park available which did get full quickly but there did appear to be some more parking available off the main road. Service was fantastic from Jarred. Lovely interior, food was sublime and the oysters were some of the best we’d had in a long while. Thank you to all of the staff for a great lunch. We certainly hope to be back again soon.

This is for us THE BEST pub in we have been to this year. The food was magnificent! From taste to visual was a total stunning experience. The service was exceptional. Very very attentive. The atmosphere was cosy and warm. We absolutely loved our experience here! We will be back ASAP. Keep up the great work team!

Unbelievable service here, very attentive and engaging the food was TO DIE FOR. Only minor was the sharing steak (pictured) we felt should have chosen a larger size as we both thought it wasn't QUITE big enough, our fault, not theirs. The wine (pictured) is some of the best I've ever tasted as is the garlic bread starter (pictured). Will definitely be returning but at over £200 for 3 people probably only for special occasions. Thank you again to the staff here, truly exceptional!

What a delicious roast dinner we had on Sunday! Our waiter was excellent and very personable and the meat was melt in the mouth. The roast for two really was plenty for two and my little boy had a very generous kids roast beef which he really enjoyed! The sticky toffee pudding was incredible and the theatre of the smoked bourbon old fashioned made for a wonderful end to a fantastic meal! I highly recommend the Plough Inn and we will be back soon! Thank you

The Plough Inn is a hidden gem. Worth a visit if you’re ever in Cobham. I’ve been a few times and sat both outside on the lovely patio and inside on a nice booth table. Food and drinks are always lovely. I will agree with others on the pricing being fairly high, especially for the larger cuts of steak. Was a bit disappointed by the size of the 700g T-bone. Have had one many times elsewhere and has had much more meat on. Nonetheless, was cooked well and the peppercorn sauce and sticky toffee pudding are some of the best I’ve had!

My partner and I recently had dinner here, it’s set in a lovely location and the premises itself has a lot of charm, it’s basically an old pub that’s been thoughtfully renovated. We chose to skip having a starter, mainly because none of them appealed - that’s not to knock it, just wasn’t to our taste although slightly tempted by the Oyster Mushroom but wanted the mushroom side so no point in doubling up! We both ordered Fillet, one with Roasted Garlic Butter Medium-Rare, the other Medium with Bearnaise sauce. We didn’t realise straight away but the kitchen had got them mixed up. We didn’t say anything as it was clearly a busy night for staff, and we were hungry by this point. The steak itself was very nice, as we now go out for fillet at least once a month we’ve decided to rate the Fillet separately each time. On this occasion we both agreed on 8/10, which is pretty high. Overall the food was nice, I had the fat chips with my dinner which were ever-so-slightly undercooked. The mushrooms were very nice, perfectly cooked. We each had a cocktail, of which my drink came smoked which is a great experience at the table, it definitely add’s something. I would recommend The Plough Inn, however we did feel it’s a little on the expensive side when we compare it to other Steak restaurants we visit.
