   I called in earlier, in the middle of a day packed with household jobs, looking for a quick lunch. Both my daughter and I could have dressed better for the lunch (tracksuit bottoms and hoodie for me), but I was made to feel unwelcome instantly. The waitress looked incredibly unimpressed with us asking for a tap water (not uncommon for us as a family), then treated the remainder of our order like it was hard work. My daughter (14) asked for mayo for her pizza, which was laughed off. Our waitress then went missing for a period of time (possibly vape/personal break), only to reemerge and ignore my daughter trying to get her attention. When she eventually came over, she showed no empathy with my daughter who isn't the most comfortable communicator. Overall, the food and speed or food being prepared was as expected, but the service was shocking. I won't go again. We've never encountered the same snobbery from staff in far more exclusive places. For a chain restaurant to react like this shows something is fundamentally wrong.

   I have been managing restaurants for 15 years before I became a carpenter this was the first time a waiter has ever asked me if ive been to a restaurant before. There are difderent/ more proffesional ways to ask a guest. Simply way just a moment do what you gotta do and come back. I love pizza express and its usually great but things have gone downhill. Please train your staff to be hospitable when working in hospitality! Thank you so much for the experiance Arianna

   We stopped in for lunch today, and with my son being a fussy eater, I wasn't sure what to expect. Andy was absolutely brilliant- attentive, accommodating, and genuinely engaging. He didn't just serve us; he joined in in our banter and made us feel completely at ease. It was the kind of service that turns a simple meal into memorable outing. Perfect in every way!

   Lovely food, lovely staff. The oil you can see in the pizza picture is garlic and chillie oil that I added (not grease). Food came quickly. Starter - hot pineapple dough balls (came with lovely bacon) Main - calabrian feast (added olives) Dessert - was my sisters as I didn't get one, so I don't know what it is, but I did try some, and it was delicious. I think it was some sort of cheesecake.

   Visited tonight as a large party, restaurant was very busy but staff were as helpful as they could be considering how many people they were overseeing. Food was great as always. Thank you to the waitresses who looked after us tonight.

   This was some excellent pie. The thin crust Romana with a side of spicy dough balls was great and the toffee mini bundt cake with ice cream was amazing too. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.

   We had booked for a table of 10 for a childs birthday at Pizza Express in COBHAM. The service was awful. Children’s meals took 45 mins to come. I asked do they not perhaps do a candle for the birthday. Was told no we don’t!!! The pasta was still good though but a really dissapointing night out.

   We love pizza express! Went for Daughters birthday to meet up with family, the pizza express app club is really good, always end up with something off the bill! Good food, good service, does get quite noisy if its busy.

   I don’t like any chain restaurants. Unfortunately Pizza Express confirms my opinion. I can’t say “don’t go there”. It’s not so bad, but the quality is “chain-restaurant-standard”, nothing special, but price are too high in my opinion. Staff, ok. They are very busy this time, covid time.
