   I visited El Mexicana today (18th August, just after 1pm) with my daughter, who was very excited to try the strawberry milkshake advertised with strawberries on top. The picture looked beautiful, but what she received was nothing like it – just plain milk, completely white in colour, with no strawberries at all. When I questioned this, the male staff member turned to a female colleague, who very bluntly said they were out of strawberries and then walked away without any apology or explanation. The lack of courtesy was as disappointing as the product itself. I had been open to trying more from the menu, but after this experience I won’t be returning, nor would I recommend this place. Now I understand why there was no queue – poor quality and rude service speak for themselves.

   I use this service often. I ordered food from El Mexicana because it looked promising. I ordered a burritto and fries. It was pretty expensive for me. But the food was not that good. My stomach was upset. Luckily it was not a long drive for me then. The service was horrible. The staff was not helpful at all. They called out the name and number and left the food on the counter before I approached them. I wouldnt go to El Mexicana again.

   The BIGGEST DISGRACE OF Churros I have ever seen in my life. They will soon have a claim against this company with the level of care they have and hygiene. They do NOT change their oil ever and the churros have made my son feel very sick. Please DO not order from this restaurant — a truly horrific experience and not the FIRST! There staff have no training on how to change oil when cooking food and quality control of providing me as the customer a good product. Again, please do not order from this so called Mexican restaurant.

   We are in a rush. So i chose this Mexican fastfood. The sweet potato fries are very good. The burrito is just ok. The chicken wings are average in taste. All foods are prepared fresh. So beware its really hot.

   El Mexicana has been a favourite of ours but disappeared from our local area. It was a pleasant surprise to find this one tucked away in a service station. They have gone self-service, which we didn't like. I prefer choosing the previous way. However, I guess this expedites things if there are lots of people ordering. They've done away with the edible bowl, which was another favourite of ours. The menu has new items such as fried chicken and alcoholic beverages. Overall, the flavours are still there, even if some of the choices have been removed.

   Don't go if you're in a hurry. Took over 20 minutes to get a burrito and a quesadilla and it wasn't even busy. Beans in the burrito were also like bullets. Plenty of better options in the food hall.

   Smothered my beef burrito in barbecue sauce despite that not being asked for or selected.. service was so slow I couldn't be bothered to get them to make another one. Won't be stopping by for an El Mexicana burrito any time soon!

   Yesterday I was in El Mexicana Cobham for the first time and it was the most great experience I had. The food was made quick by the manager Ricardo who is fast to explain to me who to do the burrito and what he was put in and why in that order explain to me a bit of this company I didn't know previously. Even this is a fast food place with people like this who made a small brand that looks much more attractive than others well done guys and with a captain like Ricardo your boat is safe.

   Really enjoy stopping at Cobham and having loaded nachos but definitely prefer the old menu. Nacho cheese is way worse than melted cheese for me. And all other options worse than before. Spoke with the excellent staff and they thought cheese could be ordered but couldn't see and said options and menu being refined as new. For me change back to the old menu.

   Went on 14 June at 6.30 pm, staff is friendly but food was terrible!! Rice look old, meat was extra dry and it tasted like nothing! I don't think they didn't even use salt. I ordered a large burrito for £7,30 and it was the tiniest burrito I ever seen! not worth going there. I don't know if it was related to the time I went but they should keep their food fresh at any time anyway.
