Like the others Food - excellent except their chips. They are frozen and rehested at least twice if not three times, so hard and as I got a takeaway, all the other items were wrapped except these contrary to say, they were freezing. salt n pepper chip very hot/ Chilli. Sit down - As I had to go through the small dining area , I agree it was soulless. Shame as the small space could be so much more. ( gold , red and black is a dependable winner but not too clinche in design), better outdoor signage/ welcome entrance greenery/ topiary etc) Customer service could be friendlier. Maybe a separate entrance/ hatch for take away. Toilets were ok.

First visit to this little restaurant for us and mixed feelings... the food we tried was good & to the standard we we're hoping for, portions were of a good size & the service was good. Now the minus points - there is little or no atmosphere in this place a lot due to the white ceilings & walls with very bright lighting above more like a canteen or cafe, it's crying out for some ambient lighting & perhaps some background music you can hear. There is very little Chinese themed decoration and it's quite compact inside giving little room to navigate between the tables... Priced slightly less than mr ho's ( 5 mins walk away) but the trade off for me was it didn't have the same feel.

Great little restaurant. Good food, friendly staff. Value for money. Probably would advise reserving due to how small it is.

Popped in by chance at 6pm after reading the reviews, small restaurant but all tables but two were taking . So next time I'll book. We ordered Banquet B we changed our main meals to crispy chilli beef and char sui satay , the whole banquet was amazing , will use it's takeaway service also very soon. Service was very fast and smooth, food was fresh and boiling hot couldn't fault it .

This is a great little place for cantonese style food, I hope one day they'll bring back the old Thai dishes as they were awsome too.

Ive been here a few times when a new owner had taken over, i think that the place has been better. The food remains great, and the staff are lovely, i normally dine in with my family and we all like to order varieties of food and take our time to eat. I recommend the getting the chips as they are different to other chippys

I've seen there was a new owner who took over the place and i've recently tried it and it was amazing!! I took my family there and ordered a set, portions are greats, relatively cheap and the food tasted great. I recommend having a treat there with families since you are able to dine in. Gives free fortune cookies and wipes at the end of your dining!! how generous. Also kind staff
