We had a very nice time, the food was traditional and modern at the same time, very well prepared. The atmosphere is warm and cosy. Our waiter Eveliina was exceptional. Thank you!

We had a great dinner here and really enjoyed the experience. The fish and chips were perfectly crispy and fresh, and the burger was juicy and full of flavor β€” exactly what you want from a good pub. A special mention goes to Nush, who looked after us during the evening. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

Lovely place to stay. Food was lovely. Great breakfast. Rooms a little dark and dated but good size and very clean. Would recommend

Booked an overnight stay in this hotel for the family via booking.com which have the option of paying for the room on check in which was great. Booked a family room for 4 of us, which had a double with a sofa bed for the kids. Check in was very straight forward, there was a pre check in via their website, then on arrival full check in. After 10pm there's a night entrance which is open 24/7 using a fob key for quick in and out, residually at our room was my the back exit. This place was one of the few hotels near a friend's wedding venue which has free onsite parking. The room was nice although the bed was a bit hard for my liking. As with most hotels there was tea, milk sugar, kettle, and I was able to get some peppermint tea on request. In the morning we had some breakfast before leaving. I had the vegetable full breakfast, my wife had the eggs Benedict, my daughter had cornflakes with croissant, toast and strawberry jam; and my son had the traditional breakfast. These were all cooked very well for us to enjoy. There was an added bonus of the seating having charging plugs available if you wanted to charge your phone or Rebecca's devices. As we only stayed one night we weren't able to sample any of the dinner or cocktails which had a good selection in the menu. If we come back to this area I would come back here as the atmosphere is very nice inside as well as the option to eat outside which we didn't use due to the rainy weather but with the great summer we've been having quite be great to eat and drink outside. Overall a very nice 1 night stay.

Staying here with colleagues for work and are here one night. Service is amazing and super friendly and helpful. David, our waiter took great care of us, and kept us entertained. The food is glorious. Best squid I’ve ever had. The lamb was utterly delicious too. Would very highly recommend coming to stay or just popping in for a meal.

I would love to give 5 stars for this venue as the bedroom I stayed in for 2 nights was excellent! An enormous, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with modern fittings, a soaker shower and plenty of white fluffy towels. The addition of a desktop fan by the bed, was very welcome! Your housekeeping do an excellent job. Unfortunately, the receptionist was unfriendly and lacked any warmth. She rattled off some info about breakfast etc without any eye contact and it sounded as though she had learned it parrot fashion. I had to ask where the bedrooms were and I was given no explanation as to how to open the security door to the rooms.....I figured it out myself, but others may find it tricky to work out. The worst part of her lack of customer service was her treatment of my very elderly aunt, who I was visiting. She was told that she had to come to the hotel in order to pay for my room and couldn't do it over the phone with a card. She lives in Walton on Thames, but no longer drives, so she had to beg a lift from a neighbour! She was also told it could only be paid for on my arrival date and not before. Her neighbour had to alter his arrangements in order to help my aunt out! They too found the receptionist when they arrived to pay, to be most unfriendly and very unhelpful. So, sadly, I cannot give you a 5 star rating because you have entirely the wrong person greeting your guests!

pork belly with scallops was absolutely delicious and the chocolate bomb desert was decadent and rich. My dad was going to have a burger until he saw a waited walk past us with a fish and chips so went with that instead and absolutely huuuge fish, cooked perfectly and delicious. Really great and delicious!
