My boyfriend and I came across this pub by chance when we realised we’d arrived a tad too early to see the planes landing from The South Runway. Just a 5 min walk from Hatton Cross, what a gem - super good prices and friendly staff a locals. Shout out to the pub cat too. If you enjoy watching planes land the views are 10/10. We will be back!
So I got the natural sampler and a chicken dish that had lovely chips and peas. The food was phenomenal. The beer locally was great. I'll be back here many times before I go back to the states. Great food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff
It was a lovely experience. Very warm and welcoming team. Staff were really polite. Food choices were awesome and some of the prices were dead cheap. Food quality was awesome. Good range of drinks. Good space for outdoor eating. Are you a 0lame spotter, It was nice to see planes fly over, as your practically next to the run way. Highly recommend it.
Very nice cozy pub within walking distance from the south side of the airport. Charming atmosphere, good food, and typical pub service. Odd enough it is fairly quiet inside as there is a fair amount of plane traffic above, so the outside is what it is. Highly recommend this landmark for someone wanting a proper pint.
Staying at a nearby hotel before a flight headed to the Green Man as a family of four. Great place to plane spot. Really nice food and excellent choice with a deal for two mains for £13. Staff were really friendly, and the cost of car park across the road was reimbursed as a bill credit. Can’t say fairer than that.
Great local "boozer". Food is really good, lovely garden, plenty of parking, steeped in history going back to the 16th century ... Great for plane spotters! As under Heathrow flight path
Very good food.. Lovely ambience! Very warm n cozy feeling.. I would recommend you sit outside in the lawn area seating to enjoy amazing airplanes going above your head.. Ordered a mixed platter.. was superb n hot!
Table service provided was nice,Has a beer garden with lots of food and snacks options available.
Stopped in on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Great place for a drink and to watch some planes. Nice beer gardens and good service.
