Absolutely loved the food. It’s our 2nd time here in a few weeks as we loved it the first time. I’ve just exclaimed to my wife that this might be the best pizza I’ve ever had!
I first visited metro Italia last week with a friend, after initially walking past and noticing the delicious smell! We both got the spinach and ricotta tortellini and it was truly delicious. The pasta is fresh and handmade, and the sauce was so so moreish. We didn’t realise that we actually came during lunch time and got a 2 for 1 deal, amazing! We were expecting to pay in full since we enjoyed the meal so much, so the half price deal added to our enjoyment! Since we went last week, we planned our next dinner for the yesterday and went straight back to metro italia, trying a different pasta this time. We got a fusilli and lasagna, and both were just as delicious as our first time here. It such a hidden little gem, with wonderful ambience and servers who are always so pleasant and happy to help! We will definitely be coming back, our new favourite restaurant in Ruislip ❤️
This is my favourite Italian restaurant. The staff are so friendly and attentive. They're really nice with kids and serve with a smile. The food is phenomenal and authentic. This is a great restaurant for a nice family meal and I highly recommend it.

One of my all time favourites. Been many times. Sat upstairs for the first time. Food was amazing, lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed my cocktails too. Waiter was very efficient and friendly.
Service was good but some of the dishes were very disappointing. Ordered what I used to enjoy in the past but what I got was completely different and almost inedible. Pasta was too undercooked, the middle was too stodgy and the sauce was uninspiring.. The aubergine dish barely had any aubergine and was swamped in tomato sauce. Having always rated this restaurant as excellent and enjoyed the food I would seriously consider eating elsewhere in the future.
Testing another Italian pretty good, started with a burrata with a glaze of balsamic vinegar, mains a pizza lovely thin base rich flavour and crust on point, also they have a homemade chilli oil which is very dippable and a good hit of spice. And seafood spaghetti with mussels, squid rings. Then to finish you completly off a tiramasu. Al this including drinks £30 each pretty good for a Wed night out #metroitalia. Nice ambience inside.
