   I would like to highlight a very disappointing experience from my recent order. I had ordered a plant-based burger, but I received chicken instead. On top of that, all the food items were terribly packed, everything arrived cold, and the overall quality was completely unacceptable. When I called the outlet to report the issue, instead of properly enquiring or taking responsibility, I was told that the burger was “plant-based”, which was incorrect. They said they would speak to the manager and call me back, but I never received any update. No call, no apology, no resolution — extremely unprofessional and irresponsible behaviour. This is not the level of service expected from GDK

   The food was quite nice, in that it was hot and filling, albeit way too salty. Service was almost non-existent in that the two girls working there were more interested in talking to each other than welcoming customers. Some semblance of good manners would be nice, considering we're paying around £10 for the eat-in experience. The toilet was really disgusting. Surpassed in its level of horror only by Starbucks in Glencoe Road, Yeading.

   Updated 21-08-2025 Unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing. I was surprised by the decline in both the quality of the food and the service. Because of this experience, I feel I have no choice but to update my original 5-star rating to 3 stars. I truly hope they can improve soon, as they have been much better in the past. Original review 5* I went for lunch with my kids, and it was an absolutely great experience. The kids had a wonderful time, and the service was fast. The food arrived within a reasonable time, though I noticed that there were only two staff members—one in the kitchen and one at the counter. It would be great if they could increase the kitchen staff to improve efficiency. 4* The store was a bit cold because the front door was left open. Additionally, I ordered two boxes of the same item, but one had a slightly smaller portion than the other. This could be improved in the future. Overall, it was a great experience. A big thank you to both staff members for their hard work.

   I visited this branch with my colleague, expecting a good experience based on past visits to a different location unfortunately, this one was disappointing from the start. When we approached the counter to place our order, the staff member told us to wait as she was busy with something else. We didn’t have much time, so we tried ordering at the kiosk, but it failed to scan our voucher. Only after we asked again did she take our order manually. After waiting around 10 minutes, we received our food — I ordered the beef doner box with fries. Sadly, the food was well below expectations. The beef was cut into thick, long strips that were difficult to eat, and the cheese had a strange taste. It just wasn’t enjoyable. I’ve had the same item at another branch and it was much better there. But at this location, both the service and the food were disappointing and definitely not worth the money. Would not recommend based on this experience.

   I recently revisited German Doner Kebab after quite some time, and I’m thrilled to say that it’s still as impressive as I remember. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean and well-maintained the place was. The modern décor and inviting atmosphere made it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. One standout feature is the glass wall showcasing the kitchen, which gives you a clear view of how clean and organised everything is—this transparency really adds to the overall dining experience. The food, of course, was the highlight. My doner kebab was absolutely on point, bursting with flavour, and perfectly cooked. The combination of tender meat, fresh ingredients, and delicious sauces was simply spot on. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food, and it’s clear why they’ve earned such a strong reputation. I also want to give a special mention to the service. The staff, particularly the young lady who served me, was friendly, efficient, and attentive. She ensured that everything was to my liking and provided great recommendations. It’s always nice to feel well taken care of when dining out, and this visit was no exception. Overall, my experience at German Doner Kebab was fantastic, and it’s safe to say I’ll be coming back again soon. Whether you’re a regular or revisiting after some time like me, I highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

   First time eating from here and had Deliveroo bring it. Sadly through no fault of the shop the driver went in the wrong direction to us and waited somewhere for 10 mins and it took over half an hour to get to us by which time our food was stone cold. The driver was really rude too! Kebab was ok cold but I will definitely go collect mine when I next order.

   The Boss Box! Nice, big kebab choice of fries and a side and a drink. Recommend for sure. Reasonably priced and tasty. It’s never swimming in oil like some kebab shops.

   Very marmite experience with GDK all the time. When it’s great the food is absolutely delicious but when they get it wrong you’re left fuming due to smaller portions, forgetting sauces, not following simple requests or late delivery (more down to Uber/Just eat). The prices have gone up by a pound but
