Very nice food, and the staff, Kerry is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this Spanish restaurant.
Ate here twice in one week as loved it so much the first time. First visit we went for the Paella which was sublime (there were 2 of us but it could have easily fed 3, or 4 with some other tapas). The next visit we went for the tapas and tried a mix of the specials, some menu tapas and then had the steak. Steak was cooked to perfection, and needed no condiments or sauces really. We were lucky that both times we were able to sit outside in the end of summer sun. Each times all the staff have been super friendly and keen to explain the menu and also chat. Makes such a difference. Cant wait to go back!
Came in for a spontaneous lunch with my partner and we were not disappointed. From when we entered, the waiter was really friendly and the service was good. Having gone to Spain a few times, the food here tasted authentic - just as if we were in Spain, which is quite hard to find in London! The chef also came to greet us and we had to pay our compliments to him (Raul).
Don Luis is a marvellous tapas place on Esher high street. This has to be the best prosciutto I've ever eaten in the UK. Every slice was quality and the standout dish. Often tapas can be overly oily but not here. Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
I am so happy that the place we chose to eat originally was closed and we visited this tapas restaurant instead! Lovely food! Everything was delicious, and portions were really generous. I really liked the service. The lady was so nice and explained everything to us. There was no long wait and everything was fresh. I am sure we will visit again if we are in the area.
This is my favourite place in Esher, the staff is friendly and attentive. The Spanish wines are great and the food is amazing (I ate already in a few occasions here) every time is everything is wonderful, today I had the special ribs croquets WoW!!! I will be back. Thank you again!
I could close my eyes and imagine eating this food in Spain. It was delicious, and the portion was big. The server was friendly and overall a nice restaurant.
Very nice place. I'm from Catalonia and I can say that this restaurant serves proper tapas. The food was delicious and the service was very nice too. The price wasn't too bad, considering that we are in UK.
My husband and I had dinner here last night, and we were very pleasantly surprised. There was a menu stacked with options, and normally this is a cause for concern because you can't get that many things right. Except that they did. We tried two of their specials: the prawn croquetas and the goat's cheese filled courgette flowers, which were both brilliant and absolutely moreish. We also gad a delicious runny tortilla, pan con tomato, chipirones, lamb pinchos and berenjenas from the main menu. It felt like being in Spain. The recipies were authentic, and you can tell that the chef does not skimp on ingredients. The service was warm and friendly and quite professional. It did not feel like they had only been open for a few weeks. They had a reasonable wine menu which worked with the food. Definitely our new local date night spot!
