Usually wouldnβt eat at any of the restaurants at the zoo, but didnβt have enough time to make me and my partner some packed lunch, so we decided to check the street kitchen out for lunch whilst at the zoo. I thought the menu looked ok, nothing impressive, but tbh there are so many seats at the street kitchen, so it does make sense. Me and my partner both ordered the Manado Honey Sesame Chicken and a side of vegetable spring rolls. We both thought the food looked quite decent tbh. We did try think the chilliβs were quite spicy, but it did make sense as the place was East Asian inspired food. For the price, I think itβs not too bad. Although I would definitely go to the Oakfield restaurant next time as itβs not that much more and the food looked much better.

Forget the usual disappointing fare at zoos and theme parks! This place was a breath of fresh air. While not the cheapest option, the exceptional service and delicious food made it completely worth it. It's the best meal I've ever had in a captive audience situation, hands down!

For a zoo, the food is quite good. It's reasonably priced, and instead of just oily fast food, you can actually pick up a decent healthy meal like the honey sesame chicken. The only downside was that the rice was sticking together, but oh well.

After a lovely day at Chester Zoo we decided to get something to eat. We were pointed to the Manado street food. We ordered hot dog and.a plant based burger. Firstly the food was almost stone cold. The staff were lovely and changed it for some hot food The burger was served on a dry, bun, the burger looked so tiny on a big roll with a bit of lettuce & tomato (the best bit). It was dry and tasteless. The lady I was with found it extremely difficult to eat the hot dog (she can only use one hand) it was impossible to eat due to it being smothered with some kind of garlic sauce all over the top of the roll. She ate a few chips, a sausage and a lemonade. This along with my burger which was quite honestly the worst plant based burger I ever had and barely fit for human consumption cost Β£25.50 pence. My advice is to take a packed lunch!!

Off peak visit so food court not really used. We brought sandwiches but purchased coffee, tea and a portion of chips, all were as expected and nice refreshment. Plenty of seating, high chairs available and a children's play area. Our area overlooked lowland Anoa enclosure who graced us with their presence as we were leaving.

Visited 9/9/22, not a busy day when you compare to summer holidays but we still had a long wait time both queuing and waiting for food. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries and hotdog with fries. Husband was told the burger would have no letttuce, fine no problem. Once we got the food he said his hotdog was basic and overcooked. My cheeseburger, did have lettuce despite being told there was none, but it was frozen! So it made the bun soggy and inedible. The burger patties were basic but edible at least. Wouldn't recommend.

Predatory pricing. They donβt include VAT in the menu total, meaning something that I thought I was going to pay Β£8.50 for, actually costs Β£9.92, which is quite the difference. Was expecting bill to be around Β£18, was actually Β£24. Wait times were atrocious. 30 minute queue time, 15 minute for food to be made. Food/drink quality is poor. Litter and food all over floor. Avoid.
