Absolutely delicious! We had a chicken tikka biryani and a chicken tikka karahi, delivered to eat at home, and the food was outstanding. My biryani was perfectly cooked to my preferred level of heat, and was packed with meat, the sauce full of vegetables. The karahi likewise had big tender chunks of chicken, and the onions brought a lovely sweetness to the sauce. The portions were generous too :) I'll certainly be ordering from there again.
Although the establishment now operates on a takeaway-only basis, the experience proved no less satisfying. With a park conveniently situated across the road, the setting lent itself to a relaxed al fresco meal. The meat was beautifully succulent, the sauce deftly balanced, and the vegetables retained a welcome freshness. The naan, though modest, complemented the dishes well. Exceptional value was matched by thoughtful touches, such as the provision of cutlery, ensuring the meal could be enjoyed at its best. Altogether, a simple yet thoroughly gratifying dining experience.
We ordered delivery from here based on the great reviews it had received both on google and Uber eats. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The sauces were all very thick and grainy with coconut chunks and extremely sweet. We ordered the lamb korma, chicken tikka and butter chicken and they all tasted very similar, just a different colour. We also ordered the vegetable samosas and they tasted as though they were from a box in the freezer aisle. Would not recommend.
Fairly mediocre, run of the mill “English-style” Indian restaurant i.e. simply meat mixed with sauce- no vegetables- no real thought goes into any of the dishes. The tell tale sign is the length of the menu- which is waaaay too many dishes for any real quality. For a marginally higher price, Bombay Social is way way higher quality food (its our usual). Was worth a shot but wont be coming back.
Fantastic! We had our food delivered today. It was prompt and hot when it arrived. The food was delicious, fresh and cooked so well. Really enjoyed! Thanks for making our Anniversary meal great! We will be back!
I discovered this place by a pure accident, I checked the 'King Prawn Butterfly'and that was spectacular. I also tested Lamb Rogan Josh - fantastic. Samosas are just right, big and tasty food + nice sauces. Nice atmosphere and excellent customer service. Prices went up a bit, but taste still the same. Very much recommended.
This was our first time with using Esher Tandoori .Our food was delivered 40 minutes after ordering. It was piping hot. The meal was tasty, fresh with ample portions. The delivery man was friendly. Will definitely order again.
We came here for dinner for the first time and was not disappointed. The service is excellent and the food is made very authentically! Being Indian myself I can say it's almost as good as my mums home made cooking. If you fancy indian please try this restaurant... you will be glad you did. 10/10
Great quality, great price, very tasty! Highly recommended. Speaking with the owner, Bahal, it was clear his customer service was very good and he even offered a discount as well as added items to our takeaway order. Will be ordering from here again. 5 Stars.
