   It was a lovely experience. We had requested a window seat which we were kindly given and it came with a lovely view of the Thames. The servers were also very considerate and attentive, without being overbearing. My partner and I both had roast dinners, one pork, one beef, which were both really delicious, and the side of stuffing was great as well. The one downside to the experience was the silver skin in the beef. Unfortunately both pieces had a large amount that made it difficult to enjoy, but the beef did taste nice. Overall a very nice experience.

   Thank you so much for the excellent service and for going the extra mile to make my dining experience a special one. The occasion was a celebration of my son having passed his Master's degree with flying colours. The food was of excellent standard and with great thanks to all the staff who made this a special ocassion. The celebration plate arrived exactly on arrival together with the two glasses of champagne. The table overlooking the river was also amazing. With special thanks to the waiter who came over and congratulated my son for passing his degree. The waiter was friendly with a super smile, which made the occasion much more personal and special. Thank you also to the head waiter who introduced the menu with such grace and elegance, which was incredibly charming and refreshing. The manners in which the host also showed us to our table was again also very endearing. Thank you so much again and we will definately visit again,

   We had a voucher for an afternoon tea for 2 a lovely present so we thought . My partner doesnt eat any cakes or sweet things so asked for extra sandwhiches which we normally do everytime we have an afternoon tea. They gave my partner a plate of sandwhiches none for me and the quiche n sausage rolls far too small to share we thought it was all very megre . When we finished we were told we had £10 left to spend and would we lkke a drink , we thought this odd as the voucher was for afternoon tea for 2 . Well we had a drink making sure it was just over the £10 and when we left we were charged £13 . Its a shame because it could have been so much better , but display on the plates just didnt shout fantastic afternoon tea. I wouldnt go again .

   Setting is wonderful over looking the Thames on a wonderful sunny day . Difficult to beat Food was good . The green salad was too salty. I was looking for a mixed salad or even a green salad and a tomato and onion salad but told no this couldn't be done. Good beer. Menu was a good size and well printed. Service was good but on recall of what was ordered, it was wrong at least twice.. We were only 2 people Toilets were nice and clean Web page could do with sorting it looks good but lack content No one answers the phones

   We came to 1665 Brasserie at The Mitre to celebrate our anniversary and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent and the setting beautiful - but what truly stood out was the outstanding service from Andrew. He was warm, attentive, and made our afternoon feel really special. Highly recommend!

   The food is really good and we enjoyed the ambience. However, while we ate, the woman sitting at the table next to us outside was smoking in what was a non-smoking area and was not told to put out her cigarette by the staff. Can you kindly make sure that no smoking signs are placed everywhere so people know not to smoke in the patio dining area? The smoking area needs to be made clear and smoking violations need to be taken seriously.

   Really Poor food ordered starter prawn cocktail - minuscule and dry pathetic salad. Main course Pasta crab - tiny portion bland greasy and full of shell but no crab. Pasta asparagus - bland greasy and told to put Tabasco and parmesan cheese in it as vegan and meant to be bland!!! Wine was rose £50 and tasted cheap told to put liqueur in it to brighten it up and then they charged for it. Place felt mean and cheap and just cashing in on location and french speaking waiters. Avoid or just go for bog standard drinks

   Great restaurant at a beautiful location by the river. Its a really lovely indoors with plenty of comfortable seating arrangements which is also great for large groups and a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We were in the outdoor seating overlooking the river which is brilliant on a sunny day but very cold in the winter. They have an outdoor open fire but this creates mainly smoke and the outdoor heating is rubbish. The menu for outdoor tables is different (not sure why) and its not as good as the indoor menu and dishes. The food outdoor was alright, nothing special or outstanding, it was ok only. The service is incredible. Plenty of friendly professional well trained staff that do an excellent job of looking after the guests. Just don't sit outside unless the weather is good enough to do so.
