1st time using New Anarkali. Takeaway was delicious. This is how it should be done. Delicate tasty food without the oilyness and with a unique fresh and vibrant taste. Had been using the Viceroy forever but Anarkali beats them hands down on every level. Very friendly and even called me back an hour or so after we had finished to make sure we were happy with the food. Will most definitely return and intrigued to try more of their dishes This will be our new go to Indian from now on.

We attended the Abba tribute night as part of a work christmas party. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was excellent. It was super busy (we had about 30 people and then there were other groups) so the food didn't come out all at once, but it was worth the wait when it did come! A great restaurant with a great vibe and great food. See you again!

Came here as part of a large group for an ABBA themed evening Christmas party. My first impression was how clean and fresh the restaurant was, and also how organised everything was. Service was quick and efficient and the food was so tasty and tasted fresh as if cooked from scratch. The entertainment, an ABBA themed tribute act came on who were brilliant at getting the party started, encouraging audience participation and getting everyone up dancing. However whilst all this mayhem was happening the resturant staff carried on as efficiently as ever still serving the meals and drinks with no accidents or spillages....I really dont know how they did it! One of the headaches of large groups is dealing with the bill at the end. However this restaurant had a very efficient but simple system of getting each member of the group to fill out a order sheet individually so that when the time came to pay the bill there was no dispute as to who had that extra samosa or drink. Of course ABBA nights are not for everyone! These themed nights are only occasional and are advertised. So whether wanting a quiet meal with lovely food and fantastic service or you need to organise a party for a special occasion, this place is versatile enough to cover both bases

This is probably the best Indian restaurant you could hope to find. The chef is outstanding no wonder he’s been here for so long. Nasim offers outstanding service as all the staff are friendly, well educated and attentive.

We came here for a Good Friday dinner. My family have been here before but this was the first time I’ve tried the food. I can say it was all very enjoyable and tasty. I would probably rate the food 4.5 overall. The special lamb bhuna was particularly good. We had some king prawns from the tandoori grill which looked spectacular and tasted v good but I seemed to have missed taking a photo of it in my haste to tuck in! All the food was fresh and hot and flavourful. I thought it was pretty good value esp as the main portions were generous. The decor isn’t particularly interesting, a bit on the bland side. V comfortable padded chairs however. Nice touch with the chilled After Eight mints at the end of the meal. And the poppadoms fresh and crispy. Felt v satisfied and by the time we left, not surprisingly the restaurant was full of happy punters.

This is my favourite Indian restaurant of all time. It's seriously underrated as the interior is quite fancy, service is brilliant and food is consistently superior. On top of that, the prices are quite good. This place always puts a smile on my face and it never disappoints.

The atmosphere was lively with lots of other diners enjoying their experience, the tables were nicely set out and the food was delicious. We ordered a mixture of starters and mains dishes which promptly arrived.

Went for the first time having walked past recently. First impressions were very good, friendly staff, lovely decor, busy with lively atmosphere. Menu is interesting with some traditional and modern dishes. Draught Kingfisher lager a nice change from Cobra. Food was excellent, quality and served nice and hot. Service excellent with caring staff ensuring everyone is happy with their food and drinks. Overall and excellent experience and will definitely return.

Probably one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. They have a great mix of dishes, some of the usual suspects, and lots of specials. Our food was delicious, every mouthful was a pleasure. Definitely worth a visit
