Food was quite good but disappointingly they increased the price from the menu price they had advertised fairly significantly. They tried arguing that it was a small charge overall but I didn't like it on principle.
Food is good, but they still have a sign “cash only”, sounds super fishy and inefficient. It’s 2025 and no reason for any business to not support card payments but a few reasons to guess why they only take cash.
I ordered Chicken Kottu and Roasted Chicken Fried Rice and for the first time in the UK, I truly felt that back-home taste! The Kottu was absolutely stunning, and I’ve become a real fan of their food. However, there’s a bit of room for improvement. I ordered via Uber, and it would be great if they could include some gravy and utensils with the Fried Rice and Kottu, as well as a tissue. Still, wishing the team all the very best, keep up the great work!
Good food to have. Could improve the ambiance of the restaurant. Outdated. The chicken briyani and parota are the highlights. Good flavour. Much to improve needed.
Decent fairly spicy food but was very diappointed that they no longer make dosais which I was looking forward to and is still on the menu !!
I have ordered food from Taste of Asia on quite a few occasions. The food is tasty & the portions are quite generous. I found it to be good value for money,
I have ordered a mutton savan. They said it’s for 6-8 people but the sides they have not even enough for one. He gave gravy which is 20% filled in the container. I had to go back to ask what has happened. He said that’s how much they give and I had to pay £10 to get some extra sides. Food was very average taste. Additionally this shop has no parking, for the second time I went I got a ticket as well. I was so frastraded and furious on my daughter’s birthday. Thanks.
Great sri lankan food! We always take away as the place doesn't present its self great for a night out at restaurant as it looks like a just take away. However there is the option to eat in. Byriani and mutten rolls are a must. Would defenetly recommend for feeding parties. Thay have a savanna that comes with several items, including desert at a reasonable price.
Roast chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Briyaani and Wattalappam are amazing dishes to try. Small place but amazing food !!!
