Explained very clearly to the waiter that I had an allergy to tree nuts such as almonds, cashews etc at the outset. This was a sit in meal in the restaurant. He said they don't use nuts in their dishes. The starters came. Three things went wrong. We ordered meat samosa, they delivered veg ones. when we tried them, we realised they were veg but also still frozen in the middle. The chutney they served with it had tree nuts. Unbelievable level of incompetence and we were the only people in the restaurant. We called it a day right there and left. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

My favourite spot for excellent, home style cooking Afghan food. Dishes are made to order, and always cooked to perfection. Very friendly service too that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Honestly, one of my favourite spots. Super simple place, the decor is fine, but dated. The staff here are extremely attentive and always incredibly friendly. The food, is out of this world, the chicken is always succulent and juicy, the lamb is tender and rich. All the accompanying foods are just as good. The portions are generous and delicious. I try to come here every couple of months. Super happy to support an honest and high quality establishment. 10/10 every single time.

We ordered the Mazar platter which included (2 skewers one chicken one lamb, mantu, chicken qorma, spinach , salad, naan, uzbeki pulao, chutney) well it was quiet big platter we didn’t knew, so also ordered afghani kebab and lamb Karahi. Service was very good, ambiance is simple needs to be worked on. Now the main thing food I must say one of the tastiest mantu it was very different than others we had before. Kebabs were very succulent and pulao was flavourful, salad was fresh liked the presentation.Chutney was hot but we loved it.Naan are like nice soft Turkish bread. Chicken qorma was like our salan so was lamb karahi. So pls don’t come here with the Peshawari Karahi in mind it is totally different as they are from north side of Afghanistan and they don’t have Chapli kebab. Overall experience was good. We were also offered complimentary chai and sweet almonds and melt in the mouth burfi. Their servings are large bit pricey though. We do recommend to others as we enjoyed the food and yes it’s Halal. For sweet tooth craving check the dessert shop opposite it.

Mazar serves the most incredible and authentic Khorasani food you can find in London. The owners are very kind people - may Allah bless the owners and staff and their respective families immensely, Ameen.

I ordered the qabeli pilau rice and when I say the portion is massive u better believe it as I initially thought it will be a small tin box and I can just have it for my lunch but no this massive serving has me smilling. Good people and good food . As sson as I ordered I called them to keep my food hot as sometimes drivers have couple stops but the food was piping hot when I received it. Thanks will order again.

I love Mazar in Wealdstone and have been going there for several years. The owner and the staff are always so friendly and helpful - I almost want to help them clear the tables and wash the dishes for them! The food is always very tasty and authentic. I took my mother on my latest trip and we had the Chicken Quorma and Chicken Kebab. And we had a special green minty dip which was totally amazing. The Quorma was the highlight. I can't wait to go back again, and neither can my mother.

Mazar provided catering for a work training event in October. The food was lovely and presented with so much care, everyone was impressed and enjoyed lunch. The owner was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Definitely would recommend :)
