   Always consistently excellent quality fish and chips. Cooked by people who know how to make a decent light and fluffy batter (ahmen)! I've lived in Bushey for over 10 years and this is the best chippy in Bushey bar none.

   This place is overpriced for a start. Portions are small. Food is average and chips are rubbery. You prepay for your food which is a red flag to start with. Taking your money quick but delivering food is slow is perfected there. No staff member wears gloves or hairnets so they're handling food and none of the hair is tied back and it looks looks disgusting. I waited no word of lie for 30 mins for my food. I ordered 1 Haddock, reg chips, a burger and a fishcake. Everyone ques like an amusement ride waiting for their food, whether you order online or not, you wait. And you wait. It seems like a first come first served basis,regardless. I saw orders being given to anyone that was waiting. You see the staff in the back with food tickets and you can tell they have no idea who they are for. After 30 mins I asked for a discount or a refund. Staff looked at me and did nothing Manager stormed over to me, sneering at me and snatched my food back that finally arrived. The manager was rude and told me to 'come when we weren't so busy.." Told him to give me food immedialy as I paid for it. All that included for £24.00. Got home and there was several curly hairs in my chips. Binned them. Worst food experience I've ever had.

   So very pleased we found this fish and chip restaurant. A real little gem of a place to eat! Not only very tasty food. But excellent value-for-money. Good convenient opening times too. Excellent table service. Parking was okay, and excellent takeaway menu too. Highly recommended!! Especially the £12.95 two-course daily special offer!!
