Been coming here for six years, consider myself lucky to have such an exceptional restaurant a stone's throw from my home. Food is always exceptional, five stars aren't enough. The people are wonderful there, always make us feel very welcome. Would recommend this place to everyone.

We recently hired the back area at Saaras Nepalese Restaurant in North Harrow for a private party with a set menu, and it was perfect from start to finish. The team were incredibly accommodating and made everything feel effortless. The food, as always, was absolutely amazing — we’re regulars here for a reason! Every single guest enjoyed themselves, and the warm, family-run atmosphere really added to the occasion. Great hospitality, delicious food, and genuine care for their customers. Highly recommend Saaras for both everyday dining and special events!

We recently visited this Indian restaurant and had a wonderful experience. We tried the dal makhni, veg kofta, naan, momos, and noodles, and each dish had its own charm. The dal makhni was rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavor — exactly what you hope for in a good North Indian meal. The veg kofta was another highlight: soft, well-spiced dumplings in a deliciously smooth gravy. The naan was fresh, warm, and perfectly fluffy, great for soaking up all the sauces. The momos were a pleasant surprise — nicely filled and steamed just right — and the noodles added a fun Indo-Chinese twist to the meal, with a satisfying mix of veggies and seasoning. Overall, the food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the experience was truly enjoyable. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!

This family-run Indian restaurant in North Harrow is a real gem. The staff are always so welcoming and genuinely lovely, which makes every visit feel special. I’m a huge fan of all their starters. they are full of flavour. My go-to main dishes are the Desi Chicken and Keema Masala, that authentic taste you just can’t find everywhere. They do have plenty vegetarian options! Highly recommend to anyone looking for proper, delicious Indian food in a friendly, local spot!

Definitely underrated ! This is such a great restaurant and had such a nice variety of food. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in Harrow and this is by far the best. We ordered a bunch of food and the bill came to very reasonable price. The service is excellent and the time taken for the food to come out was really quick. The veg chili momos were fantastic and so was the daal tadka! Will definitely be visiting here again and would highly highly recommend. The photos speak for themselves

Just want to say we had a great evening here a couple of Saturdays ago. There was a glitch with the online booking system which meant they were not expecting the 10 of us, but Saraswati made arrangements to find us a suitable area of the restaurant swiftly. The food was great and she was really passionate about her restaurant and advising which food options to try. We would return for sure!!

I went yesterday for lunch at 230pm as on the online menu and website says opens at 2pm on sundays, called them to check as i was told it opens at 5! The lady picked up as her restaurant phone was diverted to her mobile, she said we open at 3! Anyways waited for abit and the waiter said we need to change the menu time and on website! Needs to be done asap to avoid confusion. One negative. The place is nice, was quiet when i went, only 1 more family there due to it was middle of afternoon. I ordered tardka dal, aloo sag, rice ,salad and tandoori roti. All were nice apart from aloo sag, the spinach tasted like tin spinach puree, which i dislike. Fresh spinach needs to be used. My friend ordered tandoori chicken. He said it was nice. Food is abit pricy. Portions are standard portion. Each dish would be enough for 2 or 3 ppl. Overall good place for food. Will go back try more items.

Food was very nice and tasted very good. This was my first time here and I had the veg noodles, chilli paneer and gobi Manchurian. All dishes were very tasty and a food sized portion. I had to put ask for some to be packed up for take away. Staff were attentive when we called them. Service was slow even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy. However food arrived at the table piping hot They serve veg and non veg meals which was off putting for a member of the family who didn’t like to eat in places where meal is cooked alongside veg dishes. Would dine here again or get take away to eat at home.
