   I went there after my son had a party and I had been there before. The owner was not present and there was an employee and his wife I believe. The boss was "on holiday" and only the employee was present. I opened my salad box to see it was teeming with flies and their eggs. Absolutely bloody disgusting. I looked up to see more flies and I was disgusted. I then tell the employee and he was shocked and offered me new salad which was also teeming with bugs. Th garlic sauce also was not fresh in any way whatsoever and it was absolutely disgusting as it tasted as if it had been left in the bottle open for weeks. Used to be a loyal customer, never going there again

   ⭐ 1/5 — Order Elsewhere I’ve been coming to this kebab shop since I was about 11, back when I was at Southborough High School. The attitude problems were always there — you just don’t notice it as much when you’re a kid. As an adult, it’s impossible to ignore. The atmosphere now feels completely drained. The owners look fed up, and the customer service comes across as rude, dismissive, and honestly quite entitled. One of the guys especially acts like he’s doing customers a favour just by serving them. On my last visit, the lamb doner smelled off to me. The chips are still great — easily 10/10 — but the meat is something I personally won’t touch again. Even a friend of mine had a really rough time after eating there, which only added to my concerns. I ordered a £30 meal and paid by card (which shocked me, considering the machine is “not working” most of the time). Then over a 30p dip, I suddenly got told there was a £5 minimum — even though they had literally just charged my card minutes before. The attitude over something so tiny was ridiculous. It annoyed me even more because I’ve actually bank-transferred them in the past when their card machine wasn’t working, and yet I still get dismissed with “I’m not the boss.” The same thing happened when I tried dropping off a flyer — instantly brushed off without a second thought. After years of loyalty, this behaviour was the final straw. The food quality has dropped, the service is worse, and the attitude is just not worth dealing with. Save your money and order elsewhere.

   Really glad I have finally tried this shop after being a customer for many years in another kebab shop just down the road but has deteriorated in the last couple of years. Ace Kebabs are absolutely fantastic, great service, excellent telephone manners, efficient, competitively priced and super tasty. The kebabs here are juicy, which was drizzled in chilli and garlic sauce on request. This is now my new favourite local takeaway. Thanks guys!

   Ordered a donor kebab in shop around 8:15 poor quality and tasteless, very rubbery. Sauces were very basic from cash n carry. Had three mouthfuls and threw in bin.

   Deserves 0 stars really good was terrible and overpriced are a handful as was starving and put it in the bin which is the best place for it - everybody learn from my mistake do not eat from here

   Bossman was very friendly however I'm afraid the kebab wasn't great. The chicken wasn't well marinaded and left a burnt taste in my mouth. The chicken was thin and slightly gristly. The cabbage didn't have any lemon juice/vinegar which was a bit rubbish. The chips were nice though.

   A kebab for any self respecting bloke is a fine way to end an evening out and Ace Kebabs didn't disappoint. Tender Lamb Shish, fresh salad on a plate with complementary pitta bread what more can one ask for. Spotless premises and a real bargain to boot.
