Classically British. Look at the history of patronage on walls. Look at the view. Enjoy the smart service. And maybe you can forgive that the latte was disappointing- stuck in the past, made for Boomers - or the poke bowls rice wouldn't pass the pass at a Japanese izakaya. Much to be desired food wise, but look at the view though!

The quality of food and service here has gone downhill. Ive posted before and after pictures of what the scones looked like a few years ago, and how they look now - half the size and flat. The velvet cake was dry to the point of being inedible, and the overall food was underwhelming. We had requested a window seat when booking, but were placed on a table furthest from the window behind noisy children. When I mentioned we had booked for a table by the window, the manager and reception clerk were rude and unapologetic about this, giving priority to others and not telling us beforehand that we would not get the table we requested. I’ve been coming here for 8 years to celebrate special occasions but will not be returning as it’s terrible value for money now. The only good points were the pleasant wait staff and the slice of birthday cake they bought out. But the rude manager and reception staff, plus the underwhelming food ruined the experience for us.

Good portions were great and very tasty breakfast! Ample parking with great, comfortable rooms. Located close to town centre. Lovely walk by the water nearby. Could include some more tofu for the vegan breakfast. Would recommend!

Loved this place. Relaxed afternoon tea. All very tasty and too much to eat in one go so some of the amazingly delicious cakes taken home. First class scones and a plentiful supply of clotted cream. Idyllic views over the Thames.

I had expected the Petersham to be a bit staid, but our Christmas lunch surprised on the upside! Even playful in parts, the meal was always very good quality. Clearly, they have a talented kitchen team. Service was well paced and friendly, and the 'White Christmas' joke was fun!

Absolutely great Afternoon Tea. Sandwiches was very good, scones too. In the end couldn't finish all. Atmosphere is lovely, service too. Definitely recommend, especially because of view on river during sunset.

The Petersham Restaurant is close to the River Thames and in the best location in Richmond. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner many times there with my family and friends. The hotel's views, food and service are the best in London. As Kizilari family, we would like to thank especially Mr. Atan and restaurant staff who have always been kind to us.
