A true gem in our community! This is my absolute favourite Italian eatery! Fresh seasonal and hand made food with love and passion! The pizza is exceptional everything is authentic, including the atmosphere and the warm and friendly team. Fresh artichokes (a total labour of love!) seasonal salad plentiful and so fresh, tiramisu light as a feather but still rich and decadent, not to mention the amaretto affogato - HEAVEN! I just come loving here I feel cared for and love eating this REAL food!

Not sure about the other reviews but I thought this place is arguably one of the most authentic restaurants in the area. I loved the pizza and pasta we shared - sorry no photos of the Ndjua pizza or sage / butter ravioli as we were too busy eating it! Would highly recommend- avoid the tourist traps and go here. Did I mention the Tiramisu?

Nestled in the heart of London, La Luna di Luca is a true gem for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. Upon entering, the warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu at La Luna di Luca is a celebration of traditional Italian flavors, crafted with passion and expertise. From classic pasta dishes like homemade tagliatelle al ragù to mouthwatering pizzas, each dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to authenticity. Both Martina and Luca go above and beyond to ensure that every diner feels like a cherished guest, providing recommendations with genuine enthusiasm and ensuring that every need is met with a smile. Arrived in Richmond late on a Saturday afternoon and from the taxi noticed a nice looking wine bar and opposite, an Italian restaurant. The wine bar didn’t serve food, so we crossed the road to La Luna Di Luca. We were fortunate to get a table (without a booking) and enjoyed seeing so many family groups dining out together. The menu has many flavours from Sardinia and we really enjoyed the Tagliatelle al Ragu and the Mallureddus Campidanese (Sardinian pasta with sausage) - both expertly cooked al dente. The rocket and pomegranate salad complemented the pasta perfectly. The moreish rosé was exactly as the owner described it - fruity and dry. I would like to drink it again! The only downside was the unexpected “optional” 12.5% service charge - the highest we’ve come across on this trip. We’d definitely eat here again - the pizzas looked very good too.

Martina welcomed us to her cosy, intimate restaurant which has a lovely atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We had a selection of pastas, pizzas and starters which were all excellent. I feel the beetroot, fig and pistachio salad deserves a special mention! Thanks for a lovely evening.

We’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always consistent. Lovely food as always using fresh produce. Tonight I had the tagliatelle after seeing their beautiful fresh porcini. Pasta was homemade, perfectly al dente with ceps, porcini and truffle paste. I would happily eat another portion. Wonderful friendly service from Martina and the team.

The worst pizza restaurant in London! Martina the owner is rude and obnoxious. The service is disgraceful and the product is not Italian! In Italy we say: le manca il forcone sembra uscita da un fienile.... Cafona, rozza e maleducata! W Franco Manca, cheap, kind, good quality and above all they are Italian! Not fake Italian like Martina!

Charming local Italian restaurant. Spotlessly clean and kind service. I had pizza which was excellent quality in terms of dough, mozzarella and salami. Can be busy so booking is advisable for groups.

WOW, JUST WOW ! I work in hospitality myself, but the food here is really amazing. Was hesitating to try first because of the mixed reviews, but they were all about service and one bad waiter is enough to cause that. The food was stunning without any exception, wonderful burrata with figs and hazelnuts, bresaola, and the pasta was at real Italy level, al dente, super tasty, we had beef ragu and lobster linguine. And a wonderful pan a cotta with apricots to finish. Lived in Italy half of my life but this is at par level with a good local restaurant in Italy! And the service was fine too, apparently changed service team ? If you are in the area and want proper authentic Italian don’t miss out on this gem. I will be back soon !
