By far the friendliest staff that will show up when you need and great atmosphere. SUPER GOOD food and big portions. We got spoiled with Turkish tea, baklava, sweets and salad. 100% recommend as we are regular customers.

I had the most amazing experience at this Turkish restaurant! The food was so, so, sooo delicious, every dish was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and you can really tell the chefs put love into their cooking. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly from start to finish. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, can’t recommend it enough!

Stopped by this Turkish café in town on a Saturday lunchtime. The place looks quite nice from the outside with the usual blue-and-white décor and photos of Istanbul on the walls. Inside it’s clean enough, though the tables were a bit sticky and the music was louder than I’d like for a relaxed coffee. Ordered a Turkish coffee and a slice of baklava. The coffee came quickly and was properly strong and thick (as it should be), but it was served only just warm, not piping hot like I prefer. The baklava was okay, sweet and nutty, but you could tell it had been sitting in the display case for a while, edges a little dried out. Staff were friendly in a quick, busy sort of way, no real chat but no problems either. Prices are reasonable for what you get. It’s perfectly fine if you’re in the mood for a quick Turkish sweet fix and happen to be passing. I wouldn’t cross town specially for it, but I wouldn’t say no if a friend suggested meeting here. Just… average.

I was really blown away by Diaar Turkish Restaurant. One of my friends told me that the food there is authentic, and they were right! I tried the mixed meat dish and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful, smells wonderful, and has such a warm vibe. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an amazing Turkish experience.

Walked in Sunday evening, plenty of seating, friendly staff. Food was plentiful. The salad was presented really nicely, was fresh and tasty. Would definitely go back to try the other things on the menu.

Delicious food and attentive service by the staff I have eaten here a few times and haven’t visited since pre-pandemic and was pleased the quality is still there. I had the chicken dish with peas and cauliflower in a watery sauce which was delicious. On sitting down we were served with two dips and freshly baked flat bread which put a smile on my taste buds. Definitely recommend this place. We finished with mini baklava and traditional tea.
