Came to this Restaurant for an Anniversary Meal, very smart inside and we'll laid out. Good mixed menu to choose from with a good choice of Wines, Beers, Cocktails etc. The food we ordered was presented very well and was very tasty. We will definitely be back, thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

It is a genuine restaurant, and I absolutely love it—I keep going back again and again. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is fantastic. Right now, it’s definitely my favourite restaurant. You do need to enjoy mussels to start with, but the starter board is amazing, and the oysters were truly satisfying perfectly prepared, and go perfectly with wine.
Tried most restaurants in Chester and this one is the first one brings the wow feeling. Fish and duck leg taste great. Desert tastes very impressive. Oyster …is just oyster, could clean more thoroughly. Portion is relatively small . Overall good food and good atmosphere at lunchtime. Polite and attentive service.
Came back here as I remember really liking the place as a child and was still amazed with how good the restaurant still is. Me and my partner came into the restaurant at 19:30 on a Friday and greeted by the staff which were super friendly. The restaurant was very quiet as well which was very nice to see so we had no problem being seen when we needed to by the staff. Great selection on the menu and we chose the Seafood platter which we both really liked the look of as well as some extra garlic bread. We both really enjoyed the food. Although we would suggest avoiding the garlic bread as it was £4.70 and we only got two small pieces which we didn’t think was too great. Although we thought the seafood platter was really good for the price. We both really enjoyed all the food and would definitely come again.
When we knew we'd be visiting Chester, this was my first booking/reservation. I couldn't heap enough praise, from the welcome we received, from the service we received and from the food we ate, it was "Top Notch" I went for mussels and I certainly wasn't disappointed, amazing. I managed to save room for dessert and an espresso martini, too.
Delicious food in a cosy and warm setting. We ate here for a special occasion and sat on the 1st floor. It was lovely and warm with cosy lighting. The food was delicious. We had rib eye steak with delicious chips and pepper sauce, and sea food linguine which were both delicious. The meals were accompanied by prosecco and cocktails. The pina colada cocktail was delicious. Service was good and friendly and toilet facilities were very good. This place is very close to Chester centre (few minutes walk) so very conveniently located. Would go back again when in Chester.

+ Beautiful interior. + Amazing atmosphere with candles. + Delicious food. Loved the "Blue Pot", but wasn't a fan of the "Harlech Pot" so had to switch it with my girl. + Can book a table through "Open Table." - The food is a bit pricey.
We had an absolutely beautiful meal here last night (Valentines Day) The food was amazing and the service brilliant too. Really loved the atmosphere and how the whole building is done up, it's perfect. Will definitely be going back!
