   A lot of Very rude male staff. not a kid friendly place to stay. Front desk male staff who assisted checking out had a know-it-all atittude. Big male staff wearing coat in the dining hall was loud, strong and unkind to my kid. Even threatened to put my kid in a dark room. The waiter during the wedding we attended banged the wine bottle on our table for no reason. All female staff were kind and nice. Very POOR Customer service from MALE STAFF. Place was very nice but because of the experience from the staff and big man wearing coat our stay became a nightmare.

   Terrible service for over priced food and drink. Staff can’t treat paying customers with any respect. Avoid at all cost.

   Not impressed with the afternoon tea. Bread wasn’t fresh and some sandwiches had bread too thickly sliced. Hardly dainty. Also, very little jam and cream given to have with the flat, sorry scones.

   Good food but not great service. We reserved a table for dinner yesterday. Upon arrival we were told to wait in the pub while they set up the table. After 20 minutes of wait and asking again we finally made it to the table. Asparagus risotto was great although I felt the quantity was less. It may a place for you if you happy to wait and have a lot of patience to accommodate the fact that they are very busy. It was not great experience for us specially because we went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday.
