wonderful food and portion is big with the price. Can feed two person with its big portion, food is fast as well. Finding authentic curry laksa and came across this, food hall is clean as well great place with lots of varities of food
Ordered the curry laksa which was absolutely awful no flavour other than a bit of coconut. The black bean noodles was okay. Told the the girl with the glasses I was not happy with the food and she said the old “I’ll tell the chef” I asked for a takeaway container for the noodles and she said it’s a £1 minimum charge. And said I can have 2 containers for a pound. Why on earth would I want two and instead I asked can it be not in the house on this occasion and she said no. Has no clue about customer service and I will never eat here again.
The Coconut Tree never disappoints ,I ’m hooked on their curry laksa. It’s hearty, loaded with toppings, and easily one of my favourite dishes. The portions are huge, super filling, and definitely worth the price. Comfort food at its best!
Rice wasn’t even cooked, everything was bland. I used to eat here when bang bang first opened and was disappointed everytime but yesterday I thought I’d give them a chance again and regretted it. Chef special and chicken hainanese was ordered and do not recommend. (Ignore the dumplings in the photo they’re from Momos and were quite tasty)
My favourite place to go in this oriental food hall. MASSIVE selection of food to choose from. I go for the vegetarian nasi goreng and it’s absolutely delicious. Portion size is huge and always end up taking it home if I’m on my own eating it. Also get the vegetarian Singapore noodles, salt and pepper chicken, salt and pepper fries from here and they are great dishes and never had an issue with food from here. Fast and efficient service and plenty of other shops around.
Not bad, not brilliant, I couldn’t find Malaysian taste on my dish, tasted very Chinese, hence neutral the rating, also very overpriced for a food court, definitely not coming back.

If you want to get food poisoning then eat from this place. I ordered Singapore noodles with sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was hard like a rock and smelt funny. When I told the lady who served me she was rude and was shouting in her Chinese language. These people seriously have no customer service and are nasty. The Chinese chef in the back was picking up vegetables from the floor with the same gloves that he was cooking with:
Huge portion size and great value for money. Food came out very quick. We had the nasi goreng which had a nice spice kick but was not spicy. We had allergens and they accommodated, no problems. Only issue is that the menu is on the counter so you can't walk past it and see if you fancy the food or not; you actually have to approach the counter and stare down at the menu to see all the options, which is not easy as menu is huge, probably has most options compared to the other establishments in Bang Bang. Would definitely come back again though as food was delicious.
On a weekend they cannot be putting a sign for 2hours saying going for lunch break knowing that their business exists to serve and also their food was reheated and reused . I would not recommend this place to anyone if they are looking to eat Malaysian cuisine , this place is a disappointment .
